This was the worst experience of my entire life!!!||If I could rate it a minus 10 I would. The experience left myself and the young children of my family traumatised.||I am very well travelled all over the world and NEVER have I experienced such poor level of professionalism from the staff (especially the moroccan speaking staff) in my entire history of travels. ||From racist remarks from the restaurant staff, to the arrogance of the local hotel owner. ||I had a baby with me and other young members of the family staying at the hotel under the age of 12. I experienced racism on day 1 from some of the staff, which led to another tourist joining in and shouting abuse at me, whilst I was holding a baby and the children holding onto my legs in fear. In fact, the tourist (who was a French male) started to threaten me physically.. As a women with children, I was traumatised by this and frightened to death!! I was on my own with no male. I requested to leave the hotel and for them to cancel the rest of my stay due to this. However the hotel owner threatened that if we left they will still charge us the full price for stay. Even after another staff member (French speaking male who was very understanding) agreed to cancel the stay as he knew what happened was horrific. I explained how staying here was going to be difficult for my children now after they saw the staff being rude and tourist becoming aggressive towards me... but the owner and front desk staff refused to let me cancel the booking even though we hadn't stayed the night yet. Any other hotel would have apologised for the experience and agreed to cancel and refund and allowed me to leave. I could not afford to pay another hotel whist still paying for this hotel too so I had no choice but to stay. I spoke to some locals before I left the country in regards to this and they claimed that this is not the first time this has happened in this hotel. The lack of professionalism and customer service, racism and violent experience, I have no idea how this hotel is 5 star. I would...
