We had searched before booking at nice buffet brunch spots in Marrakech and La Table du Marché came up as a top 7 on this website with a direct link to their site and phone number. On this website we also saw the current prices for the brunch. We called from that website which redirected us directly to the restaurant and made a reservation for our family (5 adults and 1 child).
The buffet food was good but nothing too special and for a brunch it lacked many basics such as viennoiseries (croissant, pain au chocolat etc), butter, honey and jams which you typically find in brunch buffet so this was quite disappointing but they did have an extensive savoury buffet.
There were little details missing, for example the sushi buffet had soya sauce in a big bowl with a spoon however no individual little containers for you to take to your table.
Upon asking for the bill, we realise that the price they charged was higher by nearly 10€ extra (per person) than what was advertised on this “Top 7 Brunch” website so we told the restaurant manager that we saw different rates and were expecting to pay what we had initially budgeted as this was very misleading. He went to check with their marketing team which is in charge of advertising their restaurants on this specific sites. He told us that they apparently are no longer in a partnership with that site and that those rates are old ones. We said we understood that but that it honestly wasn’t our fault as any other guests could also have stumbled upon this site and expected those rates too. It was their marketing team’s responsibility to ensure that they no longer appeared on the sites to ensure no other potential guests would come across those rates. Coming from a hospitality background, we always offer the guest in this case a sort of make good to ensure satisfaction and end things in a good note. Instead they became argumentative and unpleasant with us about this not even taking accountability for this error in communication…! We were treated very badly and they had absolutely no care for us or our experience at their restaurant ! We will no longer go to this restaurant- they have NO sense of customer service or experience which is...

Starters We began with the Popcorn Prawns with Japanese Sauce and the Salmon and Tuna Tartar. The popcorn prawns were a standout – the exterior was perfectly crispy, while the inside remained tender and juicy. The Japanese sauce complemented the dish beautifully, adding a flavorful, slightly tangy kick.
The Salmon and Tuna Tartar was another highlight. It had a refreshing hint of lemon that enhanced the natural flavors of the fish, making it feel incredibly fresh. The tartar was served over a bed of cucumber, which added a lovely crunch and a refreshing contrast to the dish. The cucumber itself was well-seasoned and delicious, making it more than just a garnish.
The Warm Octopus Salad was also fantastic. The octopus was cooked to perfection—tender, with a slight char that added depth to the flavor. The salad components complemented the dish well, making it a great balance of textures and tastes.
Surprisingly, the Spring Rolls were another favorite. They were crispy on the outside, packed with a flavorful filling, and not greasy at all. They were an unexpected delight, exceeding our expectations.
Mains For our mains, we had the Fish of the Day, Lobster Roll, and Steak with Mushroom Sauce (medium rare).
The Fish of the Day was fresh, well-cooked, and served with a perfectly balanced seasoning that highlighted its natural flavors. It was a simple yet elegant dish.
The Lobster Roll was rich and satisfying, with a generous amount of lobster meat in a buttery, toasted bun. The flavors were well-balanced, and the texture was spot on.
The Steak with Mushroom Sauce was absolutely perfect. Cooked medium rare, it had a beautifully pink center, just as we ordered. The steak was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, while the mushroom sauce added a deliciously earthy depth...
Read moreOne of the most incompetent management I have ever seen, bunch of idiots with zero resource management or clientele appreciation.
I visited table du march on a trip of Marrakech with some guests from Europe, I tried to pay with my card but their machine faced an error.
Out of fear that the transaction did not pass through, they asked me to stay and figure it out by myself with my bank. (Im not sure what exactly i can figure out for them)
Since the transaction showed on my bank application, i called out their idiotic request, left them my number just in case it is actually retrieved by the bank.
I kept getting phone calls from their cashier for the next two months, and not from a single supervisor or manager even after asking specifically for a manager to call me.
Instead, i find out two months later they have deducted the money from the cashier’s salary instead of calling me directly.
Ofc i reimbursed the amount, but i will never set foot in this terrible...
