Avoid at All Costs – Unsafe Food, Zero Accountability
This restaurant is an absolute disgrace. My daughters ended up with severe gastroenteritis after eating here, resulting in 36 hours of relentless vomiting and diarrhea. I had to rush them to a local health clinic where they required urgent rehydration, multiple medications, and consultations — all out of my pocket.
The ordeal didn’t stop there. Because of this restaurant’s shocking food hygiene and likely cross-contamination (as confirmed by the clinic), I had to extend my stay, rent a flat for two additional days, and change our flights. In total, I was left nearly 2,000 dirhams out of pocket.
When I approached the owner with medical documentation and receipts, expecting at least a token gesture of accountability, he refused even to reimburse the cost of the meal. Instead, he denied all responsibility. That says it all about his attitude toward guests’ safety and wellbeing.
I travel to Morocco twice a year, for over a decade, with my children — eating happily in souks, village stalls, and street food stands. Never once have we been this sick. Ironically, it was in this so-called “posh” establishment (I use the term sarcastically) that we suffered such a terrible experience.
Had the owner shown even a shred of decency — a refund, an apology, something — I might have stayed silent. But his denial and indifference are unacceptable.
What makes this worse is that it harms the reputation of Morocco itself, a country known worldwide for its warm, hospitable people. In all my years here, I have always been welcomed with kindness — but this restaurant stands as a shameful exception, staining that reputation with negligence and arrogance.
For the sake of your health and the health of your family, do...

I ordered the calzone kebab and it came raw, I could tell straight away it wasn't made properly, I'm not the one to make a problem as the people in the kitchen are expert enough to know what they are doing, so I quietly tried to eat what was sat infront. From the first bite the chicken was tough, wet and pink. Didn't bother with the second bite.
Rather than making a problem, I simply just make a review to warn others, don't bother. The waiter saw my entire meal untouched, knew something was wrong and didn't bother asking. When I settled my check, no thank you, no smile, she tapped my card and walked away as...
Read moreHorrible excuse for a restaurant. They have it setup so that you can watch the “chefs” prepare your meal, rather you just watch an irate cook angrily chewing bread. At one point he licked his fingers and went back to prepping my sandwich. The sandwich, man I really wish I took a picture.. looked like a high school cafeteria equivalent of a kabob sandwich. For starters they give a single bread and a dime size of olives with a gross aftertaste. There were 0 other patrons of the restaurant yet no one seemed to care that we were underwhelmed...
