Grand Canyon Spur Namibia — Restaurant in Khomas

Good Day

I would like to lodge another complaint for Spur. I have decided to give you guys another chance but after my experience today this is absolutely unacceptable. I could’ve gotten food poisoning.

Firstly you guys have not improved on the time it takes to bring the food out. My friend and I went out to have a burger and the food came only after 20min.

Then after getting my steak which I ordered as medium temperature at came back as super well done and tasted like rubber. Then when i sent it back it took another 20min to come back to me. And when it came back this time the steak was RAW! I could get food poisoning from that. I am honestly very disappointed seeing as this is my second bad experience in the space of two months.

I AM NOT HAPPY! I shouldn’t have even paid for that steak but I felt so bad for the waitress. And also because I was late for work. You guys cannot expect us to come order lunch and wait more than 20+ minutes...

Very very very disappointing service Kinly check in with your staff at grove mall. They didn't acknowledge us. This is the second time we went to Spur to eat somthing. I was really looking forward to celebrate my grandma's 72th birthday there. But nothing. No menus. No waiter. No friendly faces. No one. This was the second time.

The first time we waited over 20 or more minutes. And no one greeted us. No one came to the table. Nothing.

The second time we waited 10 minutes. Still nothing. So we went to mug and bean there we were instantly help and seated.

As I looked back over to Spur there were new people at the same table we were sitting just a few seconds ago. They were help instantly. So why not us?

Is it because we had a baby with us? Or did they just not see us.

Although waiterd did walk past us but they did not even looked at us.

I tried giving them a second chance but i doubt that there would be a third.

Used to be a hit back in the day with the salad bar. Staff serves you with lacklustre and apathy. Toilets are clean, but didn’t have a soft surface in the changing bay for babies. Place lacks over all atmosphere, perhaps it’s the lighting? I only really go for the burgers and balcony. Ordered a takeaway milkshake and was informed they only have kiddies sizes after the fact. Waitress simply walked away from me when I approached her. Same waitress had an attitude when I gave her feedback in communicating menu items and takeaway sizes to customers before placing the order. I don’t know, is bad service just a syndrome in Namibia or is there room for improvement? One more thing: only five Spurs across the country as illustrated on their map.
