This place has dropped massively from what it was. I think it has lost its belief in what they originally started for. I was a fan when i first went to this cafe Food loved it, the price was very reasonable and the portions were generous, even the quality of the food was nice. Service was very attentive and responsive. Vibe was nice only thing is that when you order meat you will definitely not be eating it alone cause a cat will in extreme climb in your back and just bug you many times.

I am being very completely honest and i am not an extreme critic too. I don’t like to ruin other person’s businesses. I rarely get involved. I have been to this place more than 8-9 times but yesterday was extreme for me and i am not ever gonna step foot here ever again. And i would like to share my experience with you cause i came to this decision not based on a single event but based on accumulation sum of multiple recent events. My order: Yesterday i ordered a crunchy chicken burger, and coke 1 Service: i had to call the waiters more than twice for asking for the coke that i had ordered at the beginning while i was almost done with the wings cause wings came first. The burger came very late rotating to other tables cause they dont even know who made the order. I asked for bill two times they didn’t respond and had to go by myself and pay it waited more than 15 minutes for that. And please dont get on with me saying you could go there by myself and i dont have to be that spoiled. I am not i did the same but this has happened mutiple times and is not a good look for them. Lets talk about the most important part FOOD: the wings some of them were black covered with the red sauce and mild hot when it arrived tasted at least a day old and not healthy, the burger came the ratio of the bread and the patties was shocking. The patties was 25% of the bread also very thin patties i have even seen in my life and when i took a bite the patties felt i was bitting into cement. Trust me i have had the same food before it was never like that but recently it has lost it. But then, i called the waiter and told everything about the food and he was nice took it to the kitchen and explained to the chef. They reheated the patties and gave back the same order saying everything was fine with the burger. But now when i eat some part of the patties felt the same and no it was the worst burger i have ever eaten in my life. But i didn’t say anything and trying to leave but as you know bill didnt arrive and i decided to leave. NOTE: I was not gonna write about this at all. I am sorry if i offended you but i had my extremes and because of the food i got sick today and decided to write about it. P.S: No, i was not alone on this decision and during this...

Today 25 May 2025, I visited Malay Café in Ramhiti, one of the more talked-about spots in my hometown, known for its unique hay themed, rural style ambiance. At first glance, the place looked vibrant and busy, with all tables occupied as we entered. The rustic decor was quite appealing and offered a refreshing setting.

However, the service left much to be desired. Upon arrival, no staff acknowledged us, several waiters walked past without a greeting or offering any assistance. We had to find our own seating, eventually settling at a small two-person table.

Even after sitting down, we were ignored for several minutes until we had to call over a waiter ourselves. When he approached, I asked if he was available to take our order, he briefly replied, “I’ll get the menu,” and returned with a damp unkempt menu without any form of greeting or welcome.

I ordered two Americanos as they didn’t have filter coffee. There was no attempt to suggest food pairings or bakery items that might complement our drinks. Since I was hungry, I called another waiter and requested Tea Mo:Mo. I also asked for a recommended dish to go with it, to which he suggested “Sabat,” mentioning it was made with buffalo meat. I agreed and asked how long it would take, he replied 5 minutes and rushed off.

The coffee arrived shortly after. Unfortunately, it had a burnt aroma, with a sesame like nutty flavor and a light acidity. The aftertaste was harsh and lingered unpleasantly. Disappointed, I inquired about the coffee beans and was told it was Himalayan Arabica. I asked to see the product, and while the barista agreed, he never returned with it, stating they were “busy” at the time.

Our food took about 15 minutes to arrive—three times the estimated wait. The Tea Mo:Mo was decent, but the shabta was disappointing: the meat was dry, not tender, and lacked flavor. It didn’t complement the gravy, and the tomato base tasted off, almost spoiled.

Overall, the service was inattentive and unprofessional, with staff appearing more focused on socializing than attending to customers. The café also lacked basic cleanliness, both the toilet and wash basin were dirty.

During our 30 minute stay, most tables were filled with guests smoking hookah or drinking beer, creating more of a bar atmosphere than a cafe. It didn’t feel like a suitable place for enjoying quality coffee.

We settled the bill and left with an awkward and unsatisfactory experience. While the ambiance was charming, Malay Cafe fell short in terms of service, product quality, and overall...

Visited this cafe and the experience was quite disappointing. Initially, there were no available seats, but after a considerable wait, we finally secured one. However, the overall service was marred by slow food delivery. Despite ordering two French fries, a common starter, they arrived last, and initially, only one was served. After notifying the staff, another serving was brought, but the delay was noticeable.

The service was notably slow, and although the food was okayish, the extended wait wasn't worth the experience. Understandably, the place was crowded, contributing to the late service, but it didn't justify the prolonged wait for our food. It felt like a wasted expenditure without commensurate satisfaction.

Adding to the frustration, the food arrived one item at a time, and when the fried rice was served, we had only two spoons. Requesting two more spoons took a significant amount of time, forcing us to eat slowly and engage in photography while waiting for essential utensils.

To further compound the dissatisfaction, there was a discrepancy between the drink price in the menu and the bill. Upon inquiry, the staff explained it as a printing mistake. It's crucial to correct menu prices promptly if errors occur.

While the cafe may be aesthetically pleasing for photos, the food quality did not meet expectations, and the overall experience was marred by service delays and pricing discrepancies. Improvement in both service efficiency, menu accuracy, and food quality are crucial for a more satisfying...
