Aema-K Restaurant Hotpot Chinese Continental — Restaurant in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

I got sick from the food here. So, obviously, I won't be back.

If not for that, it would have been three stars. The atmosphere is great - it's like a Greek villa. They put a lot into making it look like you're in Greece. However, this is VERY WEIRD, they serve Chinese food!!! We asked them why, and they said, because Nepalis don't know Greek food! Hello...Boudha is an international hotspot, and you could have just marketed to the international audience. There is no other Greek food here, and we LOVE Greek food. Instead, you just made the same food as every other restaurant (crappy Chinese), and also made it unsanitary.

In addition, the service was weird. We ordered drinks, and they said, "But, you have to pay first." This was confusing; the waiter kept repeating it, while leaning over us with bad body odor, even though we kept moving away from his unsanitary smell. We finally got him to understand we were okay paying for our drinks, and yet, our drinks never came. We ordered them a second time, and they brought the wrong drink. We finished these drinks, and they never brought more. Bad service considering the food was buffet, so drinks were the only thing they...

I recently visited Aema-K and was absolutely blown away by the experience. From the moment we walked in, the warm hospitality and cozy ambiance set the tone for a perfect meal.

The food was incredible. We ordered a variety of dishes — the pork chilly was delicious, fried oyster mushroom was perfectly crispy and the dumplings were fresh and flavorful. Everything tasted authentic and freshly prepared. The portions were generous, and the presentation was lovely.

The staff were attentive without being intrusive, always ready to offer recommendations or check in. It’s clear they care about quality and customer satisfaction.
