A very nice, cozy café. Situated in a beautiful, animated area.

A perfect place to run into and… hide, away from all those bicycles (I know that a lot of people find that pleasant, or "cute", but it's really too much in this city… they are against cars, fine, fair enough… but they are also against… pedestrians !! it's excessive, and dangerous - notably for visitors who do not have this many bicycles in the streets of the city - of the whole the country! - where they live).

The service is very friendly. The coffee is truly good (and I am a serious coffee drinker…), served in beautiful, artistically designed and colored cups.

As for the bagels : MIAM! I discovered that black one, which was really interesting…

We spent a priceless moment there, me and my wife (married for 34 years, thank you)… while our son and his cousin were enjoying their boat tour on the canals… we even saw them pass by, in the boat, because you could see a canal and a lot of other picturesque views, from the large windows of this café (you can also...

I was a little suspicious of a place with an English name but my son insisted on having a bagel and I could use a rest so we ended up sitting down at one of the tables inside. It is at the heart of the Flea Market so it is hard to miss it. We ordered their breakfast special, which comes with a fresh squeezed juice, a bagel with cream cheese and a cup of any coffee/latte for 5 Euro. I think that is quite a steal actually.

The bagel actually took a long time and I guess that was because they only had 1 girl working on all the food orders. However, the bagel was actually really good and nicely toasted. The orange juice was refreshing and I got to have a big mug of latte.

Overall, this is a solid breakfast/coffee shop because the vibe was really casual and friendly. Food was good and coffee was decent. The bathroom is free but you would need to be a paying customer and you can get a token to access...

I feel kind of sad posting this review but, there were a lot of problems with this place. The service was super slow to get our order we had also to clean our table, they warned us about being late but we are here for an hour waiting for our order also the coffees were cold and one of my friends was waiting for his coffee which was or the pass for half an hour and then gave it to us saying that if it’s too cold we can make a new one(he ordered a double espresso macchiato). I can understand until a point that work was probably hard but the problems were poor communication between them and bad synergy everyone was super slow and everything was super late and the shop full also and all the people were also disappointed, you could see it on...

I usually love Bagels & Beans, but this location was a big letdown. We waited over 10 minutes just to get the menu, even though the place was almost empty. The waitress saw us several times but just kept ignoring us for no reason. When the food finally came, the bagels were half-cooked and doughy inside, and they weren’t even sliced properly, just carelessly thrown together. On top of that, the “freshly squeezed” orange juice was clearly not fresh at all. It tasted like something from a can, which is nothing like the usual quality at other branches. Really disappointing overall. I hope someone in charge sees this, because this place is ruining the good name of what’s normally a great café.

I ordered a simple Tuna salad bagel, when it arrived it came with a slice of cheese which was NOT on the menu card. I was confused so I asked for one without the cheese, the waiter looked at me funny and said “Okay” brought the bagel with him and gave me one without cheese. The tuna was clearly not fresh, the tuna had a weird dry “crust” but when I took a bite out of the bagel the inside of the tuna salad turned out to be soft. The Chai Latte was decent (not worth the price tho). The heater was also way too high, my glasses started to fog up (which is not a good sign). Overall, decent service and okay food. Toilet was very clean (you have to ask for a “coin” to enter).
