2 facts about this Ah store just in the heart of Amsterdam. Afternoon most shelves are empty , especially I am fed up with thousands of tourists have been raiding when market is opening its gates . I always have to come before going office in order to find quality water brands such as Evian, chaudfontaine , there is a bad choice by supermarket management bringing spa waters mostly which has 6 ph level which is not acceptable on health. It is a scam with advertorial. Also I cant believe when fresh fruits are being put for selling , it means you will just have 2 or 3 hours for buying it , otherwise cannibals would invade these in a few hours. After experiencing this new things , I started to think how it would affect if less agriculture and farming were in place. Would people take invading action similar like in huge floods or emergency...

nice location but bad security, I only got two croissants and after checking out the security accused me of shoplifting. They took me to the back and after looking in my bag and seeing I didn’t take anything the man started accusing me of stealing the croissants. I showed him my receipt showing I paid for my two croissants but he just threw it away, walked me back up front and made me pay another .80 cents for my two croissants. Overall the security of this location definitely took advantage of the fact that I’m new here and don’t understand much dutch. Definitely not a location I would visit if I were just...

Lots of assorted food items. Great place to grab some cheap souvenir chocolate and cheese gifts. The fruits are cheap and fresh. Better than farmers market stalls. Be sure to pick up some water for your daily excursions here. It will be cheaper than in the hotel or tourist areas.

A few other supermarkets are right next to it. You can visit the drug store nearby for over the counter medicine or cough drops. Their prices are good there too. Not a tourist trap...
