Bar Feijoa — Restaurant in Amsterdam

We came to this bar at our first night in Amsterdam because it was recommended by another barkeeper. We sat down at the bar and the Bartender was very friendly and the drinks we got were very good. We were enjoying the subtle lounge music in the background and the overall laid back atmosphere. After some time a young girl entered the bar with a bunch of friends and everyone immediately started to scream and shout like crazy. She then proceeded to enter the back of the counter and changed the music and volume to full blown party mode. She and another girl that sat at the bar earlier appeared to be barkeepers too. One of them smashed the cocktails shaker on a metal rail in front of my face and spilled liquor all over my camera. We suddenly found ourselves in a teenage like college party and couldn’t hear our own words anymore…. I’m sure you can have a great time at this bar seeing the other reviews. After searching around for a suitable bar for a cocktail or two my girlfriend ended up here. I have to say it's the best bar I've ever been to as a bartender myself. They have a set menu but this place really shines on requests, if it exists they can make it for you and make it amazingly. We tried a Mai Tai, Campari Spritz, Last Word, Mezcal Negroni, Gimlet and a whole lot of Flor de Cana 12 rum as they were hosting a special event on the night we came. Atmosphere was incredible and the staff look after you and make you feel welcome. We were served by Stefan, Melqui and Luca who are all brilliant mixologists and hosts.
