Horrible Service. Dirty. Scam.

We had several problems during our visit. Every Main dish is supposed to get one bowl of rice and a salad. We had 6 main dishes and we only got 4 bowls and no salad. When we asked for the salads they said "we don't do this anymore". But it's still advertised. One dish was served without the main ingredient. We pointed it out and they rejected it first, but then we said we won't pay it and that was fine. At least. The plates and glasses were very dirty. They were greasy and even had food from previous meals on it. If you order Naan bread for 2.50€, you only get one piece of Naan bread. I have never seen such a ridiculous price for one piece of bread. Every other Indian restaurant that offers Naan bread for 2/2.5€, you get at least 4 pieces. Moreover, we ordered 3x Naan bread, but received only 2. The male waiter was very rude and straight up ignored my orders. He only accepted it from the men at the table. Also the waitress checked every time with the men if it's fine what I said. Unbelievable. I have never experienced such a behavior in an open city like Amsterdam. We are not in the 50s anymore, so check yourself.

I definitely don't recommend this place. The food is good, but looking at all the issues with this restaurant, it won't be a...

We were exploring Amsterdam and decided to try this Indian restaurant after being invited in by a lady who mentioned the food was halal. It was around 6:00 pm, and although we had been snacking throughout the day, we thought we were ready for dinner.

Once seated, we ordered drinks and started looking at the menu. However, after a discussion, we realized none of us were actually hungry. We decided it was best to leave and offered to pay for the drinks we had ordered but not yet received.

To our surprise, the male waiter, who I believe was the manager, rudely told us we didn't need to pay and that they "wouldn't get poor" if we didn't and to just leave the place. I found this response quite unprofessional. We were trying to be polite by offering to pay, and his dismissive attitude left a bad impression.

Overall, the rudeness of the staff overshadowed what could have been a pleasant experience. We won't...

Our experience here was HORRIBLE! Our starter took about an hour to arrive after ordering and our main dishes over 1,5 hours. We came in at 6:15, ordered one starter and two main dishes at 6:30 and it took forever. Our drinks came in first, 10 minutes apart from each other. Mind yo, we ordered two drinks. Our starter (one plate of samosas), arrived around 7:30. Our main dishes (saag paneer and a king shrimp menu) came at 8:15! All we got was a “sorry it took a while”, not even an explanation. A table of 8 that arrived 10 minutes before us; ordered food, got their food, ordered a second round, got the second round, payed and left! All before we had even gotten our starter. The food was alright; but nothing to write home about. I would give 0 stars if I could, we are never coming back.

The picture was from this restaurant. It's the table upstairs right...

We recently dined at this restaurant and overall, it was a tasty experience. We ordered the chicken sag and chicken tikka masala, and while the masala was different from your typical Indian style, we actually enjoyed it. The flavors were unique and added a nice twist to the meal. However, the service was a bit overwhelming. The girl who served us was very attentive, to the point where it felt like she was joining us for dinner. It made it hard for us to have a conversation or enjoy our meal in peace. At one point, my partner picked up the bottle of Prosecco to take a picture to send to his mom, and she immediately came over, grabbed it from him, and kept refilling our drinks without asking. Despite the excellent food, this level of service made the experience a bit uncomfortable. If not for that, we would have definitely considered coming back.
