Berry Amsterdam — Restaurant in Amsterdam

Coffee was good, a great place to hangout/chat. However, a poor place to work as this is not what they want you to do there. Unfortunately that wasn't clear to me prior to ordering/sitting down (no wifi). They're not gonna kick you out or anything for being on a laptop, but it is a conscious decision of the cafe, which I respect.

Other than it not being evident, I had no other issues. Might return to just have a coffee/chat, but definitely not for work.

A sign would be nice though, something like:

"We believe in coffeehouses serving as meeting points and hangout spots, so no WiFi...

Loved this place! It's your local.. 'I want a nice chill and simple breakfast / brunch type of place'. No need to queue or worry about reservations or anything. If you're like us where you just want to have a chill Sunday morning but not have an overkill meal first thing in the day then this is your go to place. We even met Mr. Berry himself 😅 and he and his staff were very friendly. It was our first time there but we were treated as if we were frequent customers (which we would be if we lived a bit closer hehe.....

Was recommended this place by CityHub for breakfast one morning! We’re from aus and were looking for something tasty!

This was by far the best place breakfast place we found, we came back for a second time! The smoothest and best coffee in Amsterdam, mouth watering crunchy croissants! Mouth melting oatmeal apple cakes. Caters for vegans and food intolerances too! The service was also brilliant. English menus and speaking staff was extremely helpful as well.

Definitely worth coming to...
