found a pearl — a place where I can finally feel safe enough to feel at home in my own skin. I had been searching for somewhere special. ChatGPT suggested another spot, but it didn’t quite feel right. So I kept walking, following that quiet pull of intuition — and then I saw it.

It felt like a secret boutique café, a hidden pearl — high-end yet humble, refined yet still beautifully affordable. I was pulled in by the aesthetic, the sensitivity, the humility, the quiet perfection. There was even an art book by Frida Kahlo — it felt like a sign. It was just… amazing.

Sometimes, when you follow your instincts, they lead you straight into real magic. Always trust your intuition — it knows where beauty lives.

Now I’m here, soaking it all in — in love with the atmosphere, the flow, the feeling of being here. It’s perfect for a romantic getaway. I even invited a female friend, and she felt it too — that same quiet, glowing...

We rolled in like a cheerful tornado of moms fresh off a “Mama Needs a Mimosa” boat tour (still giggling and maybe a little „sun“-kissed), and this cafe welcomed us like queens.

The staff didn’t even flinch—umbrellas were adjusted, chairs were shuffled, and before we knew it, we were cozily settled at a lovely outdoor table that quickly became our throne of post-school-holiday survival. Major props to the absolutely dedicated (and possibly slightly brave?) owner and staff who served us with nothing but smiles, patience, and caffeine.

The coffee? Strong enough to restore our pre-kid personalities. The sandwiches? Fancy enough to make us feel like we had our lives together. The vibes? Immaculate. The decor inside? So cute, we’re half-hoping for rain next time just so we can sit in there.

We’ll absolutely be back—maybe a little less loud… but...

What an absolutely wonderful neighborhood spot. On a happy coincidence, we stayed nearby in Jordaan and stumbled in here one afternoon for a space to rest and have a glass of wine. Little did we know that we would be back nearly every evening after. Not only was the wine refreshing and delicious, but the people (both staff and from the neighborhood) were incredibly warm and welcoming. This was a lovely place of sanctuary for us on a wonderful trip to Amsterdam. Thank you to Jamie and Rick for being so welcoming...
