Visited: Small, cozy spot with quaint charm. Food: The dishes look appealing, but I found them lacking in authentic flavor. The dough used for the sopes and tortillas was overly greasy, which made the overall experience a bit heavy and less enjoyable, less authentic. Portions are modest, when you consider the prices, it felt like less value than expected. Hygiene & Service: The freshness of the ingredients is clear, yet the young woman handling the counter could benefit from better food-handling practices. More attention to hygiene would make a big difference. While not a major issue, it was noticeable enough to mention. Pricing: Quite steep for what you get. The ambiance is pleasant, but the cost doesn’t reflect the portion size or quality.

Bottom line: Tepoz has potential, but needs improvement in hygiene, authenticity to be sold ald mexican kitchen, flavour, and value. A nice idea, but not...

This was my favorite place to go for tacos since last summer. Unfortunately, it’s becoming quite disappointing because the price went up while the portions have been reduced. I’m used to take the slow cooked beef tacos for 12.50 and now it’s 14.50€. I've noticed a gradual but significant reduction in the portion sizes. When I discovered this place, the tacos were quite well filled and the portion of avocado was sufficient for 4 tacos. Now, the amount is barely enough for 2. As for the meat, the amount of meat has noticeably decreased. I used to go there 2, 3 times a week I even brought friends because I always talked about this place as being the best for tacos but now once per month because of that. Coming from a Mexican living in NL: the food is tasty, not the best nor the most authentic but at least is not tex-mex, but definitely these guys are unprepared; they need more people and to improve the process because although I’m appreciative of slow-food, the 1 hour wait from the moment we paid ‘til we got food on our table is simply outrageous and definitely ruined our experience. If we hadn’t pay beforehand we would have left out of desperation.
