Febo. Very convenient, always close by and never expensive.

If you want it quick and don't want to talk to anyone get yourself here. I've personally tried the chicken burgers, chips (fries) and the croquettes. Chicken burger is great considering it's about 3 euros. Nice and cheap. The fries are fine. The croquettes are amazing. Lovely meaty gravy filling with a crispy breaded coating. The flavour of that filling is amazing. And I don't think it was only because of the local delicacy. Are there nicer places to eat in Amsterdam? Sure. But none of them are as easy and convenient as febo. Always there when you need it. Going again November so will be going...

THEY NEED TO HAVE FEBOS IN ALL PARTS OF THE WORLD. That is all. Good night. Ok ok I’m all seriousness, Febo is literally the epitome of fast food; and that’s what I love about it. For those of y’all who are unfamiliar with the chain, you basically go in with a euro or two, insert money into the compartment with the food you wanna eat, and open the box and grab yo food. It’s efficient, cheap and no-hassle. The food is usually fried in some sort of way but that’s why it’s goooood. Oh they actually have a register with an actual human being behind it in case you wanna order something more... complicated, I guess? Either way, price is sweet, food is sweet,...

The prices at FEBO are extremely high for what you get the croquettes are tiny. We had two, and both were quite cold, while the cheese croquette was piping hot and fresh in contrast. The burger was very disappointing; it had almost no flavor and didn’t taste fresh at all.

It’s also a shame that you can no longer use coins everything is card-only now, which takes away some of the charm and spontaneity FEBO used to offer.

That said, if you’re out late at night, maybe a bit high and craving something greasy, FEBO can still hit the spot. Just don’t expect high quality it’s all about convenience and that nostalgic vending...
