Freshburger7 — Restaurant in Amsterdam

It's a kind of takeaway more than a restaurant. Atmosphere is not really good, very clean 4-5 table set up at the back. Pretty chilly inside with an open front door, not very welcoming big loudspeaker (with laggy music). Then you order from a machine (like McD) which is good because it's hard to hear the staff anyway due to the music. Pretty big selection of burgers, fries and drinks, you click and pay. I went for the triple patty with bacon and cheese and standard fries with mayo as sauce.

Food and beer (bottled Leffe Blond) arrived, No glass or cutlery and one small napkin. Since I like to cut big/tall burgers in half I went and asked for knife and fork and recieved some plastic ones that were useless.

The burger was OK not more, the meat was dry and overcooked, bacon and cheese ok. The rench fries was ok and portion likewise.

I don't think I'll visit again and if so I'll order out. 3 out of 5 is on...

We were suspicious before trying the food because all the reviews seemed overly positive while the interior did not look like the usual trendy burger joint, which is typical for mediocre places that buy their reviews. However, the food and the service were actually great. You can see they grind the meat in the shop.
