Gentle Place Coffee — Restaurant in Amsterdam

We came away for a short break and googled cafes near us - my goodness, Google found the best cafe! It has such a warm snd friendly atmosphere and nothing is too much for the staff here; they are a ray of sunshine and do the most amazing food - especially the yoghurt pot, it's so good! I forgot to mention, their prices are so reasonable and they also have their cute little dog, Scooby to welcome you (he's so calm and sweet). We came here every morning and we were NEVER disappointed. We need this cafe in the UK!

Damn did that peanut butter latte taste good! Perfectly delicious, achieving the delicate balance of nuttiness, creaminess and caffeine while keeping the sweetness subtle. The savory mushroom sandwich was loaded with well seasoned mushrooms and a gooey mix of cheese, perfectly tart and melts right into your mouth. The best coffee I’ve had in a long time—rich, flavorful, and simply unforgettable. I’ve tried many places during my stays in Amsterdam, and while there are plenty of good and even excellent cafés, this one is truly the very best. The coffee tastes so good that the price feels more than fair—it’s excellent quality without being expensive.
