One of the staff members was really rude and confrontational with us. A dude stood in the room and watched us sing which was awkward as hell and really killed the mood. The drinks they provided were cheap and bad. The worst thing is that they took this feedback terribly. We asked the guy why he was stood watching us and he said he was checking up on us. Lol. What?? He blamed us for being visitors instead of residents (we’re residents, by the way, of many years). We couldn’t believe it. The dude we spoke to does not belong in hospitality. Listen to our feedback, man. We’re not “being rude”, we’re being honest. We are not to blame for what we didn’t like about the service. It’s basic: if a customer complains, and the complaint is reasonable, listen to them and apologise. Your aim is to please your customer, right? The private karaoke room was really cool, we had a lot of fun. However, when we still had 10 minutes left, one of the employees entered the room and took one of the microphones and decided to remove our songs from the queue to just put his own dutch songs he liked. When I told him that the birthday girl was not Dutch and this was not nice he just said "well she should just learn dutch, and that this is a lesson" which was really rude. Furthermore, after that we decided to stay for one more drink together. One of us had a beer and we ordered tequila shots. The bartender joined us with taking the shot, even though no one asked him to and he decided to put the shots he took with us on our bill, so we ended up paying for the alcohol he drank with us without being invited. I don't think this is the correct way to treat...

Super cozy place! I've had dinner here regularly for the Infinite Chicken Wings with the Asahi on Wednesdays, which are delicious.

Also the place is great to host parties where Karakter was very lenient and hospitable.

Had an incredible evening where we, about 90+ people, stuffed ourselves inside for for a walking dinner with drinks. Where the food was a perfect match to our group which was a group of students of the Japanese and Korean languages.

Definitely recommend this place!
