Trendy Spot in the Zuidas for a Casual Bite

Located right in the heart of the bustling Amsterdam Zuidas, Oliver’s is a trendy and lively spot that draws quite a crowd—especially during happy hour, when the outdoor terrace is absolutely packed.

Inside, the vibe is casual, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Despite the extremely loud music, the restaurant still manages to create a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. The menu is straightforward, and while the food was decent, it didn’t quite stand out.

I opted for the pulled chicken tacos, which, unfortunately, were a bit dry and underwhelming. A topping of guacamole with a dollop of sour cream could have really made a difference and brought the flavors together.

That said, for a restaurant in this prime location, the prices are quite reasonable. It’s a cute place for a simple lunch or a casual meet-up with colleagues or friends, especially if you catch it during happy hour. Just don’t expect anything...

Went with reservation for 6 pax. Reservation was recognized and the table was ready. Nice and effective receiving by the staff. Food was OK (Burgers, Ravioli and Venison steak). service time for the food is OK. Some points of dissatisfaction - The staff dropped the used cutlery on one of the guests - just need more training, probably. But the impact of this error on the person's dining experience is significant. Asked for 2 bottles of still water, got one after a long time. Apparently the manager (or senior staff) who took the order asked the junior staff to bring the water and person overlooked! - Not serious. The payment terminals were not working (probably a temporary outage!!...

It's okay. I personally think that this place couldn't decide whether they should be a restaurant or a bar or a music cafe. There's so much space that could have been utilized in a better way. Expect after work atmosphere. Reserved tables for farewells, new joiners, and office parties. There are tables on the outskirts for food.
