Excellent experience. The food is brilliantly conceived and thus very tasty! Everything is sourced locally and very fresh. The sea-bream course was one of the best things I've ever eaten. The service staff were very knowledgeable and helpful but it was great that head-chef Jasper came to check on us a number of times with explanations and recommendations. (It's an open kitchen so you can see the chefs working). My wife is not a lamb fan, but the lamb dish was amazing, and she cleaned the plate. The tasting menu worked really well and the portions were larger than you usually find and thus there is no way you could be hungry after eating here. Plenty of bread if you want it with an excellent white bean dip (they could put that in jars and sell it!). We recommend Jaspers highly--just a short tram ride from the city centre. Well worth the trip if you've visiting Amsterdam. Finally thanks to all at Jaspers for recognising my wife's significant birthday without ever mentioning the significant age! Class. ...

What an incredible experience we had at Jaspers. I took my fiancé here to celebrate his 40th birthday and the experience surpassed our expectations. We opted for the seven course menu with appetizer and cheese course. Everything was delicious and memorable.

From the beginning to the end of our four hour feast we felt at home. The restaurant is intimate and inviting, the staff charming. Jasper spends time going from table to table, getting to know each guest.

It was a first for me to have so much personal interaction with the chef and it was both memorable and delightful.

Every morsel was delicious. The oyster was richly flavoured, the amuse bouche very tasty, the veal cheek and potato richly flavoured, and the cauliflower was out of this world…

We dined at Jasper's last night to celebrate the birthday of my husband. It was such a very very good experience. The service is spot on! The employees are very accomodating and making sure we are well taken care of the entire evening. Every dish is presented and explained well. You can really tell that the entire team went to proper training for hospitality. Jasper himself also came to our table multiple times. It was really a nice experience. The food is absolutely delicious and specially made. The wines are good. If you can't decide which one to chose, no worries because they make suggestions according to your taste and of course what goes better with the food. I couldn't express here long enough how we enjoyed our dinner there. We will certainly come back again. Thank you...
