We visited here on our day trip to Amsterdam. I found it on trip advisor and after reading the menu knew it was right up our street.
When looking at their website I noticed there was an early bird special (which I see is still available) and is buy one get one free on their two course set menu. You must book it online (although I did phone) and there are limited times. This suited us as we had to get the train back to our hotel.
The restaurant is located on a lovely little street and is nearish the station.
The set menu turned out to be the main menu so there was a great choice. I had one of my favourite starters even of figs stuffed with goats cheese and wrapped it Serrano ham. It was delicious, especially as one was served raw, the other cooked so it was a great play on textures and flavours.
If you are in Amsterdam I would highly recommend checking out...
Read moreMy husband and I dined here whilst in Amsterdam. We were looking for something away from the usual tourist areas.
What a fabulous surprise this restaurant was. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with friendly staff and given a choice of tables. The restaurant is quiet small so probably not suitable for children.
Food was so delicious. Really fresh and beautifully presented. I ordered the Rissotto and my husband ordered the Beef Tenderloin. I think the best part of the meal was the dessert. Portions are generous and service was great also. Beer and wine selection was pretty good and we were both happy with what we ordered.
Definitely make a booking though as we dined early and it was getting busy by about 7pm
Highly recommend to anyone visiting Amsterdam and wanting to get away from the usual...
Read moreSeasons is a great little restaurant. The 2nd day we arrived we tried to look for a nice place for a romantic dinner, and we actually missed the place at first. A server flagged us for a delicious pumpkin and coconut soup (as a tasting), and it was excellent. We decided to walk in for the meal. The fire shrimp was great for appetizers. My wife got the salmon rice dish, also very good. I had the lamb shank, which I believe is one of the best I have ever had. For desserts, I have to say the pavlova is my favorite. My wife thinks the Belgian waffle is better. Either way, you can't go wrong with the choices here!...
