Selma’s (centrum) — Restaurant in Amsterdam

Had a very disappointing experience with this bakery, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone relying on them for a special occasion.

We reached out via their website contact form to order a cake for a special event. It took them three days to respond. Once they finally replied and confirmed they could make the cake, we responded promptly with all the details, asking to pick it up two days later.

When we arrived, no cake had been prepared. The staff claimed they never received our response and placed all the blame on us, showing no accountability or effort to resolve the issue.

Amazing bakery! Highly recommend 💛The shop is so adorable and the staff is so kind and helpful. It’s really exciting to try Nordic treats - just had a Swedish semla that changed my life. I added this spot to my favorites. I was in the neighborhood, and I stopped by to grab some lunch. Fresh and tasty sandwiches (I recommend the artichokes, spinaches, and feta) , Nordic bakery assortment, and great coffee. The staff is kind and polite, which is a nice touch.
