Coffeeshop Sativa Amsterdam — Local services in Amsterdam

I visited Amsterdam with 2 friends from Thursday 19th to Saturday 21st June. This is my 3rd and best time so far purely because of this coffee shop and the team that work here. We checked in our hotel and first stop was obviously to look for a coffee shop. We stayed very close to everything so when we walked out of the hotel we turnt left and walked up roughly 500m. The first shop we initially walked into was very rude and not friendly at all so we walked off and a few hundred metres further down we discover coffeeshop sativa. As soon as we walked in we was greeted by Shakeel and Marco who were very welcoming.

Every flavour we enquired about was met with enthusiasm and knowledge of their product. I was impressed and felt welcomed, the music was nice and it was not too busy so we decided to have a seat inside and smoke. I got one of the lemon flavours to start off with and ooh was the flavour so good. We ended up at this coffee shop everyday and only purchased from another shop twice when we wasn't around here. The vibe and staff members really make this shop enjoyable to chill and smoke in. Their hospitality and kindness to customers shows, which in turn brings these customers back just like myself.

Product wise, the frosted nugz was something else, even comes with it's own baggie. Wish I took pics but you can imagine frosted ❄️! I also tried pretty much everything on the menu over 3 days and nothing disappointed 👌.

I met most staff members including Thomas, raf and Gabriel too. Big shout out to Marco and Thomas who are 2 amazing individuals, very spiritual and blessed to have crossed paths with. They were so welcoming and looked after us like we have been friends for many years. I cannot express how much better they made this trip for us by giving us a real coffee shop experience. We had some good chats and coffee with some incredible smoke. Life was bliss for those 3 days! I have and will always recommend this shop to all of my fellow smokers. Keep up the great work team sativa, this is the dream team! Please look after this team, the work they do is priceless and should be rewarded 🙏

I generally do not review coffeeshops, but this place is unique. Having been visiting Amsterdam since 1996, I've had the opportunity to see how well run shops are versus those that are just here to point you to the most expensive section of the menu and hope you bite.

Sativa is one of the most professionally operated, thoughtfully stocked, best priced coffeeshops I've ever visited, hands down. Everyone is treated with respect and given the level of advice they need to ensure a good time is had.

The shop is clean, well lit, ambient background music, good coffee, excellent chocomel w. slagroom they even have a dedicated Chocomel machine.

Best of all, it's centrally located just north of Dam Square. All taken into account, hands down the best shop in the area, and top 10 in town. They also have the cutest darn black and white kitten named...

I rarely leave reviews but when you receive service like I did at Sativa, how can you not? So the main reason for the positive review is not the flower, it is not the setting - it is the staff, namely Shakir. First time I met him he let me take my absolute time with showing me different genetics, he didn't make me feel like I was inconveniencing him, I chose my flower and he offered me a free drink which I did not expect as I have only had this happen to me at one other coffeeshop.
