The Ultimate Brazilian Tapioca Experience in the Heart of Pijp!!!
As a Brazilian with a discerning palate, I can confidently say that Tapi n' Bowls serves the best tapioca I've ever tasted in my life. Nestled in the cozy neighborhood of Pijp, this cafe is a hidden gem for those seeking a delightful culinary experience.
Whether you prefer to dine in or grab a quick bite to-go, Tapi n' Bowls caters to both options seamlessly. The inviting atmosphere, accompanied by great music and an overall vibrant vibe, sets the perfect backdrop for indulging in their delectable offerings.
Speaking of offerings, Tapi n' Bowls boasts a tantalizing variety of delicious Brazilian food. From traditional tapiocas bursting with flavors to other mouthwatering dishes, their menu is a paradise for anyone craving an authentic taste of Brazil. The portions are decent, ensuring that you leave satisfied and content.
The only caveat to note is the limited seating indoors. To avoid disappointment during peak times, I would recommend joining their virtual queue for faster seating. However, this slight inconvenience is easily overshadowed by the incredible food and the value it offers.
While the coffee at Tapi n' Bowls is good, it doesn't quite reach the level of greatness that coffee aficionados might seek. Fear not, though, as the Pijp neighborhood has other excellent options for those seeking a more robust coffee experience.
All in all, Tapi n' Bowls is an exceptional find, delivering an unbeatable combination of fantastic food and great value. It has quickly become my go-to comfort food spot in town, and I highly recommend it to anyone in search of a memorable and authentic Brazilian...
Read moreI can’t say enough good things about this place. First off I am celiac and cannot have any amount of gluten. I spoke with the workers and decided on an açai bowl. It was delicious and fresh and just what I needed after traveling the whole day before. I enjoyed it so much that I came back the next day and got another one. This is when I spoke to the owner about the tapioca flatbreads as they were advertised as gluten free. He confirmed that everything they put in them is gluten free and that they are careful with cross contamination as they do have a few items in store that contain gluten but not where the tapioca flatbreads are made. We had a long chat about me being celiac and I decided to try one and wow it was so tasty! I have never had a tapioca flatbread before and this is definitely something I now love. I came back a third day because of the safety of the gluten free food, the kindness of the staff, and the interior decor is very cute and welcoming. I highly suggest visiting here if you’re in Amsterdam and I can’t wait...
Read moreI love tapioca and these ones were completely different and out of this world! I got the caprese and my husband got chicken and cheese and they were DELICIOUS! Really really flavorful! We also tried pão de queijo, carrot cake and they were all yummy! The açaí shake (energy shake I think), it was surprisingly good for someone who wasn’t a fan of Açaí. Definitely recommend this place if you are or not Brazilian. The only down side was that we tried going back there before leaving Amsterdam and they were closed for the week 🫤 Cute atmosphere playing nice Brazilian songs. They don’t have much seating, but there are tables inside and a couple outside. (Looking at the pictures and getting...
