YoYo! Fresh Tea Bar Zeedijk — Restaurant in Amsterdam

It was cool being able to place your order on a screen, but other than that I feel a bit disappointed with the drinks. I ordered a brown sugar milk tea, but it did not taste sweet or like brown sugar at all. I asked if I could get more sugar or brown sugar in it - and they said they were not allowed to add more sugar. I am not sure if it is a law in Amsterdam that makes it so.. but it is a bit frustrating not to be able to get a bubble tea to your liking. As a former bobarista the fragrance/flavor of the tea itself was nice and present, but it did not taste like advertised (brown sugar). My boyfriend received a taro milk tea, and it was bland and it felt like they only added enough powder to make the drink purple rather than making it taste like taro.

The tapioca was good though. Staff felt unfriendly, and while I was trying to explain/talk to them they just turned their back on me. and also throwing things in the sink so it was unpleasant and loud to stand in there while waiting. It also made it feels like the staff was...

Got here like at 20:00 this Saturday and i asked the cashier which drinks could be made without dairy. She was very detail and friendly while giving the options. I went for the medium taro coconut milk bubble tea with the soy milk (extra). While wait for my drink I saw that the drinks were not sealed with the plastic film. Once I receive the drink without the plastic film I requested this other lady I’d I could get the plastic film, since I was biking ,but she told me that it was not possible… I saw another staff lady using that plastics film. Also how can they do delivery of the drinks are not closed with the plastic film.. What I could try of what was left on the drink, it was watery. The taro flavor was not really in there. The tapioca was chewy, maybe a bit old from the day. Even with their decent prices, I will probably not be buying from this...

I was in today (25.09) around 7:32 pm and ordered one bubble tea green jasmine pure tea. I stood the whole time in front of the counter to receive the tea. I only got it after 20 minutes. When I asked why it took so long, the staff told me that it was strange and that normally one tea takes them 5 minutes. She added that I should have gone up and asked for my order - shouldn't it be their job to make sure I get my order on time? Shouldn't it be everyone's job to come up and give reminders? I was standing in a very visible place. The place was practically empty, there were no queues. People ordering long after me got it earlier. Idiotic staff, kids who don't know how to serve. No professionalism. Taste of tea very mediocre, price much too high for such a size and waiting time. I do not recommend,...
