What a mess. Party of 9. Took a long time to be seated which is understandable given the size of the group. Waitress was not aware they had happy hour from 10pm-12am as advertised right outside the restaurant. Orders placed, then 5 people eventually got their food and they just completely forgot about 4 pizzas. Took 25!!!! additional minutes to get multiple waiters and the manager involved to try to figure out what happened. Manager was not very apologetic or sympathetic. One waitress was very nice and apologetic. It really ruined the meal for us, 5 people with hot food that got cold some waiting for the other half of the table to get their food. 3 hungry kids waiting for their food while 2 other kids had their food. Manager didn’t seem to care too much, which was very surprising. Bills came with drinks charged at full price (even though it was 2 for 1) and the manager took off 20?%. If it were not for the starving teenagers I would’ve gotten up and left. Pizza oven is either electric or some sort of propane hybrid. This is not authentic Neapolitan pizza….more like Neapolitan “style” Will not return, ruined dining experience.
In North America, this type of disaster dinning situation would have likely resulted in the restaurant comping the whole meal with the hopes that the clients will return. The caccio peppe pasta which the menu lists as being made table side in a pecorino wheel was not. It just showed up plated from the kitchen. Nothing special.

Frequent customer of Amore Mio many times over the past 6 years since I started vacationing in Aruba every 6 months. My friends and I do breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks at Amore Mio and have always loved every second of it. When I visited in March 2022, and again last night, it changed.
In the past, their martinis were served in full-size 7-oz martini glasses that would often come to the table practically overflowing and cost around 11-12 USD. Recently (March 2022 and last night) their martinis were served in small 4-oz martini glasses with about 1 ounce missing at about 13-14 USD.
When I raised this to our waiter, he attempted to convince me I was wrong by stating his tenure with Gianni's restaurants. Later he backpedaled on this because he admitted that he's only worked at Amore Mio for 7 months. And to his credit, he was always polite and immediately raised my concern with the manager-on-duty. The manager never followed up with me, despite visiting every other table to ask them about their meal. I also suspect the manager recognized my party given how frequently we visit Amore Mio and how much money we spend at Gianni's restaurants.
I am super disappointed in the manager, and in the direction of the business to rip customers off. I used to recommend Amore Mio for pizza, martinis, and service. Now I'm going to recommend people skip dining in and...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I came here last night (11:00pm) for a late night snack after our flight in. We ordered the Capricciosa and Margherita di Bufala pizzas. The peperoni/salami on the Capricciosa was AMAZING -- very salty and full of taste. The Margherita wasn't what I was expecting - the cheese was mixed in with the sauce (it really looked more like a standard cheese pizza) rather than big slabs of mozzarella. Both pizzas were very tastey though.
The service was not great, but it was late so that can be forgiven. I was very thirsty and over the course of a 30 min meal my water was never refilled. There was only one other party in the seating area but the two servers who were working were mostly concerned with cleaning up. They were friendly enough and did come by to take our orders quickly.
If you like alcoholic blended drinks (daiquiris, etc.) and chocolate you HAVE to try the Death By Chocolate. I would actually recommend it as a digestif or dessert, that's how good it is. I ended up having two of them and drove home a bit tipsy (shhhh...
