An Unforgettable Experience at Craft and Lola in Aruba – Thanks to Joanna!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Craft and Lola during my vacation in Aruba, and I can confidently say that my experience was elevated to an entirely new level thanks to Joanna! From the moment I walked into the store, I was greeted with a warm smile and an infectious enthusiasm that set the tone for my entire visit.
Craft and Lola is a charming boutique that beautifully showcases local artisans and their incredible work. The ambiance is inviting, with a delightful mix of vibrant colors and unique decor that immediately draws you in. However, what truly makes this place special is the staff, and Joanna is the shining star among them.
Joanna’s knowledge of the products is impressive. She took the time to explain the stories behind various items, sharing insights about the local artists and their inspirations. I was particularly fascinated by the handcrafted jewelry and textiles, and Joanna’s passion for these creations was evident. She patiently answered all my questions and provided recommendations that perfectly matched my taste.
What stood out to me was Joanna’s genuine desire to help me find the perfect items. She listened attentively to what I was looking for and offered thoughtful suggestions without being pushy. It felt more like shopping with a friend than a typical retail experience. I ended up purchasing several unique pieces, including a stunning necklace that I can’t wait to wear back home.
In addition to her exceptional customer service, Joanna’s warmth and friendliness made my visit memorable. She shared stories about her own experiences in Aruba and gave me insider tips on other local attractions and hidden gems to explore during my stay. It was clear that she truly loves her job and takes pride in representing the local community.
As I was checking out, Joanna even wrapped my purchases beautifully, adding a personal touch that made me feel special. She thanked me sincerely for my visit and encouraged me to come back anytime. I left Craft and Lola not only with beautiful souvenirs but also with a heart full of joy from the wonderful interaction I had with Joanna.
If you find yourself in Aruba, I highly recommend stopping by Craft and Lola. Make sure to ask for Joanna – her passion, knowledge, and kindness are what make this boutique a must-visit destination. I can’t wait to return on my next trip and see what new treasures await, all while catching up with Joanna!

Read moreIf I could have film the corruption of how the staff’s prejudicially made me feel. Our Airbnb host recommended this place. As a seasoned traveler I have never had such a awful 5-10 minutes first impression. This staff will make sure you understand that they don’t like you because of your appearance, accomplices, race and that they don’t want your business because of this. We arrive here for a after flight lunch. There’s not many decent tables left out of the sun and in the shade. I offer a suggestion to the waiter to turn a simple table for two into a table for three that gets denied. With a no. As if there’s some rule that can’t be broken. We ask if we can sit in a adjacent section where’s there shade. Are told again “No”. Let’s just say the waiter assigned to us just start being a prejudiced jerk. He runs off with out even asking for a drink order from us. First red flag. Leaving the three us sitting in the hot sunny Aruba sun. My friend has already started sweating after 2 mins. After we decide to go sit at the bar. We get confronted by another lie, apparently two people have been sitting in the other shade section we where told we couldn’t sit. Now upon learning we want to sit at the bar. Which I recalled when we arrived, no one was sitting at the bar and definitely not them. They also weren’t sitting at the two person table in the shade. This is where the prejudice against myself and companions starts. Just because the two other patrons where white. They get to move to every available sit that we want to utilize. How do I know this? Now that their section is open, I ask can we sit there and again a third no. Second red flag. How I know they didn’t want out business? There’s three of us ready to order food and drinks agains two people just sipping beer. I watched the bar and a open table be available for 5 mins and them showing no indication or desire to sit there. As soon as we attempt, the same jerk waiter who has said no to me several times, even when offer him a gratuity, tells them yes. Now I am all for incompetence, but passive aggression and prejudice I don’t need to pay for that. I flew here just like everyone else and most likely will stay longer. So I don’t see anyone here as being more special than myself. Especially because they are white. At this place that is...

Her attention to detail is impeccable—every drink she made was not only delicious but also a work of art.
What really impressed me was how effortlessly Joanna managed to balance being personable and professional.
