Bottom Line: Run! Do not walk to Bogarts!! The food is fresh from scratch with bold vivacious flavors. It was so delicious we went 2 nights in a row! The Chef is Michelin Star ranked and his food proves it. The prices are pretty standard for Aruba but a steal for Michelin quality! 1st Night- we went with a big group of people. Our waitress Nadea (spelling?) was fantastic! She was prompt, easy to talk to and gave wonderful recommendations. One of the couples in our group ordered the Chateaubraind and said it was the best meal they have had in Aruba. I had a taste of the Bogart's Polpettes and the sauce was nothing I have ever tasted before. The flavor was rich and velvety. It did not disappoint. All of the pasta is made in house, all by hand. No automatic rollers or cutters. I had the Spinach Ravioli, self explanatory, right? It was so light but filling. And lastly the Creme Brûlée, the creamiest most decadent creme brûlée l've ever had. 2nd night- just as amazing as the first night. Apps-Caesar salad (to die for!) and the Foie Gras Dinner- the duck breast and filet Sorbet is made fresh daily. First night we had passion fruit and mango. Second night it was a mojito sorbet! Both extremely refreshing. The Chef came to our table (and others) to check in and speak with guests. He even offered to make something off menu if we wanted. Read moreHad an amazing anniversary dinner tonight! Chef Ricardo went all out for us. We were lucky to try multiple appetizers and maincourses. The Foie Gras was cooked to perfection and the sweet Brioche made it a match made in heaven. We then had the Duckbreast which you could almost cut with a spoon, so tender. After that the Pistacchio crusted lamb which was beautiful rosé and mild in taste. Because we had something to celebrate we topped it off with a light crispy piece of seabass, served on a mousse that I still think about right now..... Desert was a Lovers plate to share with The Ultimate Chocolate Hazelnut Dome.... Yummmmm.... Yvette, the manager was our server and made sure we were taken care of above and beyond.
