Title this Disappointing and Avoid. I picked an outside table however had to go inside to order as the waitress was inattentive. I ordered fried noodles with chicken and vegetables. I received shrimp instead of chicken but ate it as I was hungry. It had no resemblance to Vietnamese food. It tasted like very basic Chinese Cantonese. The predominant taste was soy and cooked bean sprouts, Altho the little shrimps were ok. It is likely they are using Chinese soy rather than the lighter tasting VN soy. There was no hint of Vietnamese spices and no Vietnamese condiments were offered. I went in to pay my bill and mentioned that I got the wrong order but ate it anyway. Was told since I didn’t bring it back into the kitchen I had to pay the higher price. Ok. I said the food tasted like basic Chinese. The Caucasian owner was very offended. Read moreFirst, the owner is such a kind and friendly person who welcomes you with a warm smile (which is not typical in Holland!!) & the food was also great, tasty, delicious... Unfortunately due to the virus we could only take away, so the pleasure was not full, but the place inside is extremely cozy and clean. Surely we will return there.
