Absolutely great - atmosphere, service and food (taste and look). My wife was particularly happy with her roasted pointed cabbage with miso, soybean cream, teriyaki sauce and a salad of purslane and pomegranate, because it is rare to get a fantastically looking and great tasting vegetarian meal that is clearly thought through and created for people who like to follow a vegetarian diet (as opposed to it being the same dish as a carnivore option simply with the meat removed as is the case in other places). We dined at the 't Postkantoor on Easter Sunday (20-04-2025) around 19:00 and were pleased to find a table for two without a prior reservation. I guess the only downside of this establishment was that, my wife tells me, the ladies toilet was quite dim, even when the lights were on, so just be mindful and take your phone in with you so you can use the torch for more light. The bills is presented alongside a postcard of what the venue looked like when it was a postal room and not a restaurant, which is very authentic. You can take the postcard with you as a symbolic souvenir, which was very thoughtful. All in all, highly recommend to everyone, especially for a cozy romantic dinner with great tasting food that is delivered quickly and is very reasonably priced for the Netherlands. My wife and I would happily return to 't Postkantoor, should we visit Delft again...
Read moreCute décor indoors. And such a lovely place outdoors too. Went there on a nice sunny day, and enjoyed soaking up the sun.
Ordered smoothie with spinach, mango, pineapple and banana and smoothie with strawberries, bramen, framboos and coconut water along with a lemonade. The smoothie portions looked small for 5euro! For lunch we got uiitsmijter with bacon and cheese, vegan club sandwich with grilled courgette, avocado, caramelized onions and mustard spread and also a Turkish bread sandwich with eastern chicken, paksoi, spring onion and garlic mayonnaise.
Further they messed up the order and gave us grilled focaccia with mozzarella, etc instead of the vegan club sandwich. but they later on got the right order when we told them so. But the biggest blunder was, after finishing the vegan club sandwich, we discovered a charred/ grilled beetle or a bug. That was not so nice to discover in your food especially in a vegan sandwich.
Rest of the food was pretty good though. well, they did remove the sandwich from our bill, so it was a lot of blunders happening at our table.

We came here for our work dinner so we had a limited menu but they still managed to get delicious food on the tables in time and catered for our different needs. The drinks menu is spot on for any requirements from cocktails, wines and beer. They even have a cheeky whiskey selection.
If you want happiness focus on the mains and starters, the desserts are not their strong point. The steak and the salmon were cooked well and seasoned correctly. The white fish was a bit bland but still OK. Presentation was solid.
The espresso martini made the night go boom. In a good way.
The BRLO IPA is a win for the beer menu.
We did have a few missed drinks orders getting lost in the dishwater so 4 star for service.
The chocolate mouse is bad. Serve it in a glass at least... Not like a poo emoji on a plate with vegan meringue. Just use normal meringue? The vegan stuff tastes off. Too sweet, like crystal sugar.
All in all, great restaurant. I would recommend....
