This homey humble restaurant was recommended by Rick Steves guide book and then backed by google reviews, and it wasn’t disappointing. We walked in after 8pm and was worried that the kitchen was about to close but the chef came out and greeted us warmly and told us and the other guests not to rush and take time to eat. We ordered the recommended Rijsttafel or rice table with curry dishes on the hot plate. Everything was delicious except the mackerel was about average as while the gravy was lovely the fish is a bit dry. I’s take away one star for service because they only accept cash and it’s kind of hard to carry large amount of cash while traveling but the waiter was very friendly and helpful and speaks perfect English.

I arrived at this restaurant at 8pm on a Saturday night. It's a small family run place with literally 2 people, one in the kitchen and one waiting tables. They are super sweet and so hardworking that I honestly did not mind waiting. Then something amazing happened- a Dutch family started helping them wait tables so the Indonesians could both cook in the kitchen. Things moved faster and the atmosphere was so warm and friendly. I did the wise thing by just ordering whatever was ready, in my case it was yellow rice and chicken curry which was absolutely 10/10. I wanted the Soto ayam but it had run out. Would love to come here again in busier times when they have help.

Nice small Indonesian restaurant; can be full easily, so make sure to book in advance. The food is good, but not amazing; we wouldn’t say the best Indonesian in Delft. The place is small and the seats are abit crammed; not very comfortable. The service is quite fast and friendly.

Lovely, lovely place! I would recommend the biggest rice table they have on the menu. My husband and I enjoyed this, along with mango juices. The service is friendly; the food is served rather promptly and it’s delicious and there is a great amount of variety on offer. Moreover, the owneress of the establishment is such a lovely woman; she is also the chef. My husband and I are Muslim, while the owneress is Christian; she took great care of us and our requirement to eat Halal. Very hospitable and kind and pure-hearted. May God bless her. I would definitely...
