Fratelli Delft — Restaurant in Delft

Fratelli in Delft is a culinary gem that exceeded my expectations! The moment I stepped in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for a fantastic dining experience.

The Food:

We tried a few of their delicious dishes, including: Pepperoni Pizza: A classic favorite, loaded with spicy pepperoni slices and melted mozzarella cheese. Margarita Pizza: Simple yet flavorful, with fresh tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella cheese. Spaghetti with Guanciale: A Italian classic, with tender spaghetti tossed in a rich guanciale sauce.

The Drinks:

We washed it all down with a cold Heineken Beer, which paired perfectly with the bold flavors of the dishes.

We had made a reservation beforehand but it did not seem necessary for that Tuesday night. The restaurant was for about 70% full which gave the place a nice atmosphere. The service was good, the food came on time and we were always asked if we wanted something else to drink as soon as our glasses were empty. This restaurant is good for dates, family, groups and celebrations. While we were there another table was celebrating a birthday and the staff came out with a cake/dessert and was singing happy birthday (I don't know if this was pre-arranged). For business purposes I wouldn't recommend the restaurant.

We both had a pizza which were nicely thin. I can highly recommend the 4 fromaggi! The only negative thing to mention is that I was served a chardonnay instead of a sauvignon blanc but I didn't mind, mistakes happen.

Since I was on a date I didn't check if they had Wi-Fi but I have no doubt that they do.

TERRIBLE WAITER

We went there for just drinks, the waiter didn't understand my order. Somehow the words 'red wine' and 'cola light' were similar to him. When he came to bring some of the drinks I asked if he understood my order of 'red wine', he said 'Oh no but now is too late'. After 5min of discussion he refused to change my order, he even told the other waiter that was okay with changing it, to not do it.

Eventually another friend came and we gave him the cola light, the waiter then came again and offered to change the cola light for a new one because there might be 'no more bubbles'. So instead of doing the correct thing and changing the order, he threw away the cola light that he...
