Capricio — Restaurant in Groningen

I have chosen to come here to eat a good pizza, since I noticed the good reviews on Google - unfortunately, I was very disappointed by this place. Staff is very nice, very friendly - I enjoyed having time here, there is definitely good atmosphere in this restaurant. However, we are talking about restaurant, which mainly means food and taste, and to me, the pizza I ordered was not tasty. The ingredients looked fresh, but I don't know. Putting together, ingredients were not harmonious together. Bad luck.

Good point: you are offering gluten-free pizza, so my wife could join me during dinner. BAD point, we could not say it was really a pizza, as how hard it was, like a big cracker plate. But, yeah, thank you for providing the option, at least.

I will not come back, because I don't think it is good...

Came here a few days ago as a group of 8, while the staff were friendly the wait time was atrocious. After everyone had arrived it took around 15 minutes to get menus and put a drinks order in, drinks arrived in a timely manner but we still waited for another 40 minutes to place our food order. Just one course, now while i understand larger tables will generally have a longer wait time I think the 2 hours we had to wait was a bit much, particularly when the staff did not come to check our table for those two hours and when one of our party got up to ask where our food was the staff said that they though we had already eaten. While the price of the food is reasonable it certainly was not worth the wait. Will not be...

Disappointing Experience

I recently visited this restaurant in Groningen and was thoroughly unimpressed. The waiters were unfriendly and seemed reluctant to serve us since we didn't order any drinks. We placed a take-away order for pizza and ordered lasagna to eat in, but they packed both and brought the bill immediately without even checking if everything was to our satisfaction.

To make matters worse, the "lasagna" they packed was actually spaghetti, which was also tasteless and lacked salt. The pizza was awful too. Given the poor service and incorrect order, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

I've had great experiences at other restaurants in Groningen, but this one fell short in terms of hospitality...
