Café XO — Restaurant in Haarlem

Ik was hier op kerstavond met mijn vriend, een vriendin en schoonmoeder. We konden niet tegelijkertijd naar binnen, dus mijn schoonmoeder stond ons op te wachten. Terwijl ze stond te wachten werd ze belachelijk gemaakt door een (dronken/doorgesnoven) vrouw. Toen we allemaal binnen waren, duurde het nog geen minuut voordat deze vrouw onze kerstmutsen van ons hoofd rukte. Toen we ze terug pakten, begon ze ons te duwen en te slaan. Haar vriend besloot om zich bij haar aan te sluiten en sloeg en duwde ons ook. Toen de beveiliging dit merkte, werden we uit de club uitgegooid!

Buiten legden we de situatie uit aan de uitsmijter, en we kregen te horen dat we niet terug konden komen omdat de andere mensen nog binnen waren. Hun verklaring: ze waren met een groep van 20, en we kunnen niet dehele groep eruit schoppen. Maar er waren slechts 2 mensen die zich misdroegen en die moesten worden verwijderd!

We waren niet dronken, we kwamen net van een leuk kerstdiner en besloten om nog een drankje en dansje te doen. Onze avond was verpest door deze agressieve vrouw met haar vriend en de beveiliging die besloot ons eruit te gooien en niet zij! Ik heb geprobeerd om contact op te nemen met het management, maar zonder succes.

Ik kom heer nooit meer terug want ze kunnen je veiligheid niet garanderen, het deurbeleid is belachelijk en het management reageert niet op klachten.

I was here on Christmas eve with my boyfriend, friend and mother in law. We couldn't get in at the same time, so my mother in law was waiting for us to get in. Whilst she was waiting she was ridiculed by a (drunk/coked up) woman. When we were all inside it didn't take a minute for this woman to snatch our Christmas hats off our head. When we grabbed them back she started pushing and hitting us. He boyfriend decided to join her and was also hitting us. When the security noticed, we were thrown out of the venue!

Outside we explained the situation to the bouncer, and we were told we couldn't get back in because the other people were still inside. The explanation: They were with a group of 20, and we can't kick the entire group out. But there were only 2 people who were misbehaving that needed to be removed!

We were not drunk, we had a nice Christmas dinner and decided to go out to dance and drink. But our evening was ruined by this aggressive woman with her boyfriend and the security who decided to throw us out and not them! I've tried reaching out to the management but without success.

I'll never set foot in this place ever again, because they can't guarantee your safety, their door policy is ridiculous and the fails to respond...

Joined for dinner, was not aware the place turned into a disco. Decided to stay because the vibe was nice and drinks were flowing. But unfortunately the evening was RUINED because they tried to force us to check in our jackets, that were on our bodies. We left 6 minutes before midnight, my birthday!! Awful experience, we will never go back and we will make sure all of our friends know not to visit this establishment. What a crazy rule!!! Wasn’t impressed with male (glasses with curly hair chubby) waiter, we had asked for the bill he didn’t say nothing just gave us a look, walked off to another table and started to serve them and another one, cleaned glasses up and went back to the front after we had been waiting 20 minutes or so for the bill already. in the end we got up and went to someone different to pay the bill. It’s a shame as food is lovely and we go quite regular.
