The food was as usually great!
However, I must honestly call out that we were annoyed by the waiters consistently checking tables and asking if we needed something else as soon as they see the bowls or drinks become empty. Excuse my sarcasm but you can notice that they are there as if they are there hunting empty glass or anything that is about to finish.
This kind of interruption while having your meal is quite annoying and ruining the dinning experience. We like suju bar and the fried chicken and the vibes, we are only concerned about this kind of interaction with the girls working there, we are well informed and had enough experience with Asian culture, most of the Asian dining culture will leave you alone and let you enjoy your meal and take your time. Only in few case if there is too many people waiting customer themselves will leave for other people who are waiting.
At first I was discussing this with my fiend if this is their policy or protocol that requires them to push and check, but if this is really the case then I would reconsider and I know that lossing 1 customer will not be a big of deal, but I just wanted it point this out and expecting if this kind of behavior can be changed. I do not mind if we are there mainly for drinks and fried chicken, and then you can come and check with us if we want more drinks as it does make sense if people drinking bear and they want to get more. But if you are having meal like fried chicken or bimbimbap , Mandu, you should let the customer finish their food and drinks first and let them at least digest their food, as a basic social curtesy.
As mentioned earlier, and I am not trying to be picky, some girls workin there have some issues within, as their focus seem not on serving but discussing about the customers, signaling to each other secretly talking about the customers . I also wanted to know what happened. No offense but a kindly reminder, if you think you are doing something big or being there makes you special then you haven’t seen the world enough yet, we understand young people like popular cultures, but a street food, a restaurant will not make you special , I don’t know why you are behaving like that and what you have in your mind and what you have experienced, but what you are doing there does not serve the purpose. You have a lot to learn and we understand you are lack of experience as a young person, but a bad attitude and behavior must not be tolerated as this will be an obstacle in your life journey. A little too far but just needed to spill this out.
In short, food is good and we don’t want to push ourselves cut this place off from our limited options in this country but if we would be treated this way and experience the same thing, then I am afraid and unfortunately I will have to tear myself away from this place.
For those who find the above experience no issue, I would recommend this place as the...
Read moreI ordered takeaway for 500 grams of chicken with the Onion Lover sauce. I had to FORCE myself to finish the food because I felt like it was too expensive to throw away. I felt like something about the sauce tasted a little weird/off, but the chicken itself was WORSE. It had a bad taste of itself and I felt like I was eating more fried batter than actual chicken at times. Maybe it's because I had ordered towards the end of the day and my chicken got fried in old oil but the taste was horrendous for the price I paid for it. The chicken was also quite dry and the coleslaw was disgusting. I was so excited to try the food here because I had seen the hype online but it is honestly misplaced and a MASSIVE WASTE of money. I will most likely never order food here again. You are better off going to KFC and it costs less...
Read moreI really liked the atmosphere, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the food didn’t fully meet my expectations.
I had the Bibimbap Beef Bulgogi — the beef was tasty, well-cooked, and nicely marinated, but the rest of the ingredients lacked seasoning and tasted quite plain.
The Sticky Cheese (crispy chicken topped with cheese) was a pleasant surprise. The chicken was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, and the cheese paired really well with it.
For dessert, I tried the Matcha Lover. I expected something rich and flavorful, especially for €11.5, but it was very mild — more like frozen water with just a hint of matcha. It looked beautiful, but sadly the taste didn’t...
