In a time of bakeries being closed on Sundays and them turning to factory baking in vain in order to outdo the endless supply of average bread in supermarkets, Chris's micro bakery offers a glimpse of the bakery experience as it used to be, lovely service and slightly chaotic display of products (outside and inside) included. This means that the products are absolutely delicious, wanting you to buy and eat it all if you could. Getting down back to earth and its practicalities, the bakery is located in a very easy to reach part of the city, although parking "in front of the door" might be somewhat difficult. The best sourdough bread I’ve eaten in Maastricht! At first, I was sceptical when I saw the price online but the loaves are massive! It was the size of my forearm plus my hand, I’m a rather small woman but still! Honestly, you can’t find a better bakery in the city.

They have a great variety of options ❤️ Whether you have a sweet or savoury tooth, you’ll definitely find something for yourself.

I can’t finish this review without mentioning the employees—extremely warm and friendly people. We had a lovely chat, even though I just came in to pick up my order ☺️
