Kaldi Maastricht Wycker Brugstraat — Restaurant in Maastricht

I had high hopes - the place looks really nice and cosy, I thought I found the perfect spot to have some snacks coffee and do some work with my laptop, but apparently this is not that type of a place. I was told to move upstairs if we are to sit for "hours", because they don't want to miss customers on Sunday (who am I then?) - I do understand such excuse if they are fully packed and they have a beautifully decorated upstairs. But none of the above. There were empty tables downstairs and upstairs was like a classroom with white boards. There was another girl with me, who was also asked to move upstairs, and she left before me. It was a disappointment, I regret ordering food before I was told...

Seemed like a nice place to have a cup of coffee on a cold autumn afternoon. Immediately after entering the premises was shocked to discover the rudeness of the barista running the store. This woman was so incredibly hateful to other customers and openly mocked anyone daring to ask if she could maybe help them with their order even after they had been left standing for 10 minutes. Saw four people just leave the store because they were completely ignored.

Coffee was acceptable, but would recommend skipping it if...

Really nice and friendly place with excellent coffee. In fact, its more than that - these guys are experts and have a large selection of quality coffee beans and accessories for home brewing. In fact, their teas are pretty good too. My wife had a "Dirty Chai". Even their cakes of which they have a small selection are fresh and tasty (clearly home made)....
