Livin' Room — Restaurant in Maastricht

Great place for a breakfast. The staff is friendly, the queue moves quite fast, the interior design makes the wait for your food much shorter, because there's so much to look at. The length of said wait is normal, maybe even shorter than average, considering the popularity of the spot; same goes for the prices. Their coffee might just be my favourite in town. The food is delicious and the Mediterranean ingredients (e.g. halloumi, falafel, olives) taste authentic. My personal favourite is Champ's Break in a pita, a definite 10/10. Overall, a perfectly cozy breakfast restaurant. I recommend for everyone, especially if you're into Eastern-Mediterranean food.

Atmosphere is nice, but doesn’t justify the very mediocre and overpriced food. The 7€ egg and avocado “sandwich” looked and tasted like it was made by a fellow student. Furthermore, it was very small. Just one egg, half an avocado and some tomatoes with a single piece of toast, probably cost them max 1-1.2€ in ingredients. Their justification was that they use high quality ingredients (which is normal and to be expected) and that the bread is Danish? It was good but… A bit disappointed because we came a friday at 12 am and nobody told us there was a waiting time for the meals and so it happened that we’ve waited more than 30 minutes for our meals and in the meantime our teas were cold … We totally get when there is a waiting time, just inform your clients …🤷🏻‍♀️ Also we’ve took the Diana Breakfast and you could do it at home, was kinda expensive for a “london breakfast” even in London you get that breakfast for less or you get a lot more for that price...🙄 However the Sandwich was super nice and tasty, and the...
