Café Chaos — Restaurant in Oranjestad (city)

Howie is the man! We come to Aruba for 2 weeks every year and we will never be on the island and not spend a couple nights at Cafe Chaos. We had the best time the past couple years and rocked late into the night. We love to get away from the typical tourism and spend a night with the locals. Everyone was super cool and friendly. The band was awesome and his selection of Dutch beers was excellent. We even screwed up and didn't bring enough cash and this incredibly trusting owner let me slide on an $80 tab and said bring it by before you head back to the states. Needless to say, we went back as soon as he opened the following day and paid our bill. Thanks again Howie! We arrive June 13th and will be on the island until the 27th. This is by far my most favorite bar I went to in Aruba, and it's way up there for any bar I've been to in the world. It's just a bar, no food, so don't ask (but sometimes there are donuts). The music is great, the crowd is cool, and the bartender is awesome. I came in for a beer and didn't leave for hours. It's a strange vibe though. The bartender handed out those snaps you threw as a kid and we were throwing handfuls at people. Lots of laughs and lots of fun. Horrible service and irresponsibly over serving some people. Asked the staff 3 times if I could order a drink only to be completely ignored while they over-served people all around me (one lady fell on the floor she was so drunk).
