Food: my wife and I both ordered a pizza for dinner. The pizzas were very good, and came out quickly. I had the meat lovers which had good flavor, and she had the cheese pizza. The prices for the size are a bit much. $22 for a personal size pizza is a bit much. The meat lovers had an acceptable amount of toppings, but nothing to write home about. They are thin crust, which I prefer, and are wood fired which added that nice burnt end taste.
Service: it took about 10 minutes for our server to come over and even greet us. It was busy, but a “good evening, I will be right with you” goes a long way. The food came out quickly which was nice. I ordered a second beer which was a Chill in a bottle with a lime in it. That takes about 60 seconds to grab, but it took about 5 minutes to get. Overall the service was a 3 star. The 3 stars ultimately come from the pizza coming quickly and not much else. We were hungry, so the food quickly was a pleasant surprise.
Atmosphere: it is LOUD in this restaurant. I would not recommend this establishment if you are at all interested in having a conversation which anyone you are accompanied by. The live music outside along with the noise inside is overwhelming. This makes the entire experience to be unpleasant.
Conclusion: this was a visit in a pinch. Our flight was cancelled and we were put up in a hotel nearby. The food vouchers given to us by the airlines were not going to cover food at any of the authorized restaurants. I would maybe do a take out pizza from here, but would not dine in again. Between the service and the sheer volume inside of the restaurant it was a...

Tonight, me and my wife went to Casa Tua, to which we booked a table for 07:30pm.
When we arrived (30 minutes early), the first attendant was very polite and took us to Table 37… where the terrible evening started:
It arrived to serve us Cinthya (at least, it’s the name in the bill). What a bad mood. We sad good night and no answer… just gave us the menu and wine list and nothing else.
After some minutes, she came back and asked us what we want to dinner. No smile, no nice mood, nothing (even polite). Just a face of no friends.
We ordered the starter and dinner and no questions about if we wanted to drink anything! Yes, we wanted a bottle of wine… but it seems the waiter didn’t want to sell it.
So, since she didn’t asked us, just leaving, we didn’t drink.
Finally, the dinner. Nothing great. Just a simple food.
But it got worse. I wanted a desert. But Cinthya just came to us with the bill not asking if we wanted desert. Incredible!
I showed her my credit card and she told me that I should have to pay in the cashier. But, in it, I discovered that others costumers just sent theirs credit cards through the waiters…
So, if you want to be mistreated, go to Casa Tua restaurant… or just pray to not be served by Cinthya.
We had being in others restaurants in Aruba (like Tango Argentina, Terrazo Itália and others) and were all the time very very well treated. Nothing compared...
Read moreAs an Arubian who has been living abroad for a long time, I was back on the island craving Casa Tua as I am used to their good food and service, however, this time was completely different. We got there and got assisted right away by a nice young hostess, she got us well settled but after we had been enjoying our dinner, we noticed bickering coming from the staff, it was a waiter harassing the nice hostess right in front of everyone, he was screaming at her in such a disrespectful way even after her trying to walk away from the situation and him following her. There was even management around and literally no one did anything. It was so bad that my boyfriend who was his first time on the island wanted to get up and say something but I didn't let him as it would've been a scene I didn't want to be a part of. This left us, especially my boyfriend with such bad taste as he was just talking about how nice and super friendly people on the island are. I have never seen anything like this on my island and I know the table next to us also felt the same way about management not even caring to do anything. After our dinner was done, my boyfriend proceeded to ask for the hostess's name and tipped her for her nice assistance and bravery for not responding to all that. Her name is Nana and we send you big hugs. Food was overall...
