The creamy egg drop soup was one of the heartiest and generous soups I have had in a while. It included corn, chives, chicken, and robust flavor. The dish came out hot and promptly.

I knew from some of the other reviews that the general TSO chicken was going to taste different. We get so used to an American version that is deep fried chicken with a sweet but spicy sauce. The bamboo shoots, green peppers, carrots, and fried chicken came drinched in their special sauce. Another review said it tasted like ketchup. I think with the abundance of seasons and the sugar it was a mix of flavor. More like sweet-and-sour chicken but with much more robust flavor. I could see where fancy ketchup came to mind. I did request a refill of my water but after making eye contact and pointing politely the server came in a couple minutes.

Overall my impression is come with an open mind. With time to sit down and relax. The staff appear to be busy the whole time yet the atmosphere is laid back and casual. I came by myself but this seemed the perfect place to bring...

The food is not good in my opinion… at all. I wouldn’t try it a second time or recommend it. The chicken wings cost $9.50 for 2 and 1/2 pieces. Yes you read correctly.. 2 full wings and an extra drum. The fried wonton with shrimp was okay, but lacked shrimp. It cost $8.75 for about 4 pieces. The shrimp with broccoli cost $23.75 which is crazy considering portion… wasn’t good neither. In fact be prepared to pay that price for about 4 pieces of shrimp and sauce.. The general tso chicken cost $18 for really chewy questionable “chicken”. Trust me it was not good either. They used the same sauce as the shrimp with broccoli which was super disappointing. The shrimp lo mein cost $19.50 and was disappointing. They gave me chicken instead of shrimp…their menu says they don’t charge service fees.. yet my bill of $79.50 became $85. But I didn’t mind because it was only $5.50… overall just avoid it. It’s not authentic Chinese food and it doesn’t beat US Chinese food...

The food came out very quickly but the service was very bad. The owner was very abrupt and inattentive towards me but greeted other people or larger groups happily. It was very obvious that she favored certain guests over others by not checking up after bringing out the food and not even making eye contact when speaking with me. I noticed this treatment towards a couple other guests too, which is super unprofessional. It took a while to get her attention to get more water (my glass was empty for half my meal), a to-go box and the check. The food was below average.
