My husband and I came here for a late dinner (they are open til 11!) and we're very happy to find that this place has something for everyone! They have hot and cold sushi, pasta, pizza, a full bar, lots of appetizers and desserts. At first glance that might give you pause but everything we had was delicious. Don't let the lack of reviews scare you away- they just opened in September 2023. This restaurant is also one of the cleanest I've been in, both in the public areas and behind the counter. Everything is prepared in front of you and you can see in the pictures how clean their prep areas are. We had the yokomi trio to start which was just enough for the two of us. It has shrimp, gyoza and lumpia which are small egg rolls with veggies inside. For dinner we both got platters (see photos). I got the teriyaki salmon and he got the pineapple chicken. They both came with white rice and vegetables, although you could get fries instead of the rice. We found them both to be delicious, the veggies were fresh, the meats were cooked just right for a juicy bite and there was enough sauce to be flavorful but not overwhelming. They have seating for larger groups or smaller groups and a varied enough menu for anyone in a group to find something they love. The staff are friendly and welcoming and everything we ordered came out quickly and warm. While we ate we saw some people pick up to-go orders and the menu indicates that they do deliver as well. Overall if you are on the north side of the island or have a rental car this is definitely a place to check out!

Let me just say that this was our best, by far, dining experience in Aruba. We went there late Saturday night on the last night of our trip. We were the only ones there, as it’s a new restaurant and it has not gotten popular yet. We were worried, but the hostess/owner was super friendly and any worries started to disappear as soon as the drinks came out. The cocktails were absolutely wonderful. Then came the perfectly prepared appetizers, then the Sushi plates. It was absolutely the best sushi we had ever had, and my wife and I have traveled in Asia! The fish was super fresh, and the sushi was expertly prepared with wonderful and unique flavors and accompanying sauces. They have a brick oven and an extensive pizza menu as well, so there is something for everyone. At the end, my daughter wanted dessert so we ordered an Oreo sushi roll. I really don’t like Oreos so I thought I would be safe, but this dessert was unreal, and I participated in the consumption of it. This was our gastronomic highlight in Aruba, and good thing, too, because most of the other places we ate at were pretty mediocre. For example, our second favorite meal there was the pre-prepared chicken, rib, and rice lunch on the Jolly Pirate. We wish the owners of Yokomi Sushi and Pizza the best of luck and success. They are truly a gem in this beautiful Caribbean island of Aruba! We only wish we discovered them earlier on our Trip!

We tried the korean bbq and I highly recommend getting the marinated meats. The taste is built in. Hopefully in the future they have even more marinade options! Reservations: Make your reservations on opentable but make sure you actually book for the table you want sushi menu vs korean bbq are different bookings Protein: We got the ribeye and bulgogi pork and I recommend 100% getting the marinated option. Sides: Each protein includes three sides which is sooo exciting. Favorite was the kani salad, which is crab, the spicy carrot is 10/10, wakame is a classic, and the kimchi and cucumber salad were so exciting. I definitely wouldn’t order the mushroom again. The options are wonderful. Includes: You get lettuce and three sauces. I loved the sauce options, don’t remember what they were though 🤣 The experience: It gets a bit hot because of the pit’s proximity, but overall it was a fun novel thing, and easy to get a hang of. definitely a light meal with all the protein + veggie options. Cocktail: Coconut mojito cocktail was had and it’s made with coconut milk. Criticism: what’s up with the wallart? It doesn’t seem to fit the asian fusion vibe. It’s a bit 🤏🏼 out of place. At home, I checked the bill and it said we were charged 4.33$ for a credit card but we used a local bank card. I think that’s a steep charge for a local card.
