I absolutely destroyed probably some of the best perks chicken I have had in my life! Let me break it down for ya. My wife is sitting across from me shacking her head because there is nothing but bones, sauce all over me like I need a bib, and my bald head is glistening! Which means the perfect amount of heat, not overpowered but perfect. And that chicken was juicy, not dry. Best restaurant on the boardwalk! Food here is amazing and fresh. The menu is simple but delicious. Focused mainly on seafood (fresh fish, shrimp, lobster) but also has several meat options and a daily lunch special. Each time I’ve come, the chef/manager was also able to create something custom for me. My favorites are the red snapper filet and the spicy garlic shrimp. Cocktails are also perfect and reasonably priced with most being 2 for $10. There is indoor and outdoor dining available on the boardwalk. As well as outdoor bar seating. As far as creole food goes, this is THE BEST on this island. The creole shrimp is saucy, savory and delicious; the half jerk chicken is so spicy, authentic, and absolutely scrumptious; the grilled chicken is classic, spicy, and smokey; choose the rice over the french fries, it's an creole classic.
