Great atmosphere for dining or just having a coffee, tea or beer. It's a transplanted Thames River light ship. The current "gastro pub" is not the first use of the vessel for commercial enterprise; nor for food. It has a great location, very close to the Rotterdam Maritime Museum. The main deck is divided into three separate but conjoined dining rooms with another deck below. When I came, it was hotter than blue blazes outside, so all the ventilation was open. It did appear that all three spaces can be fully enclosed for cold or wet weather. I didn't make it to the deck below. I stopped in for a quick beer and snack on my way out of town. It took me a minute to get noticed by the staff, but once that was done they were cheerful and seemed willing to talk. I had the house blonde ale and, on recommendation from my server, a cup of bitterballen. The beer compares favorably against large producer ales in any place I've visited. It is fairly mediocre, however, when compared against other small production beers. I enjoyed it completely on a hot afternoon. At this time, I have no reference to compare the bitterballen against, but I enjoyed them although I would prefer to have had them in a dish other than a pint glass.

Vessel 11 is a nice restaurant located in the heart of Rotterdam, it is very close from metro stops Beurs and Blaak ( around 5-10 min walk). The restaurant is very special, it is located on an old historic light ship. It's actually pretty big considering that you can sit underground, normal level and also outside on the front and back plus on outside on the roof. When i visited Vessel 11 I tried their Full English breakfast. It was a very good meal. The breakfast came with all the classic food such as eggs, bacon, sausages, baked beans, mushrooms. My friend tried the pulled pork on a bun which was also really nice and quite a decent size. While the food at Vessel 11 good, I did find the beer prices to be a bit too expensive. Paying 8.9 euros for half a liter of beer is too much in my opinion. The service was very slow. We needed to wait for more than 1 hour around lunchtime on a Saturday. I would recommend to visit it 1 time because of the very unique location, but I am not sure if I will come here again due to the high prizes.

A really nice place! A restaurant on a ship with great interior. We came in and were seated, but only when we ordered they told us that it's quite busy and food can take a bit long. It would had been better if they had told us before getting in. As we were already sitting down we decided to stay, eventually our food came in 35 mins. We ordered the club sandwich, fries and eggs florentine. The club sandwich was stuffed well, a huge portion and tasty! Not much can go wrong with fries, they were good. The eggs florentine were also good, however they could have put a bit more spinach on the bij and the eggs were well done instead of runny, which I expect with poached eggs. Nonetheless it was tasty. Staff kept on running around stressed as the kitchen couldn't keep up with the orders. I would recommend this place when it's not busy and the staff is not stressed out, as it was kind of annoying to hear them complain every time they passed by.

Breathtaking eating, drinking and music spot in Rotterdam, near Beursplein. If you are looking for a new experience inside a boat you can't miss this. A stylish selection of home made English, Indian and Belgian exclusive beers that the bar claims to change over time, so you don't get bored of the same beer menu. They host rock/hip hop/etc concerts in the magical pub and music stage downstairs and the soundsystem is great. The boat is precious itself and is furnished and decorated in a very English way, it feels very comfortable during rainy days, very common here. You can also have brunch, lunch and dinner in the boat. In sunny and warm days they have a beautiful terrace outside from where you can contemplate the impressive surroundings of the Maritime Museum. The food quality is awesome and you will not leave the place dissatisfied, the dishes are typical English food that are made with a lot of love. Totally recommended

The restaurant offers very cosy and romantic atmosphere in the heart of Rotterdam, on the dock of rhe Old City Harbour. The food is moderate in terms of taste and variety. The fish&chips was below the expectations and has nothing to do with the same dish in England, for example. A very greasy fried covering of the fish, while the fish itself was soft but tastless. Bangers & Mash turned to be nothing extraordinary on the other side. The prices are reasonable. The service is fine, but the tables in the "corridor" of the boat are too close to one another. The deck offers better space when the weather is appropriate. The life music is supposed to be in the hold of the boat. Unfortunately, it was too loud and quite amateurish, which made me rather annoyed than pleased.

Would not recommend this place for dinner. Is a great environment for happy hour or drinks and snacks but the dinner service was terrible and painfully slow. There is an online QR menu where you can order directly. However when we were seated, the server told us that it doesn’t work well and would come back and take our order. Over 30 minutes later we had to shout across the room to get the servers attention so we could order drinks and food. The cocktails took forever to arrive and were a bit disappointing for the price. The appetizers (bread & butter and bitterballen) were good though! Which was needed since it took over an hour for our mains to arrive. We all had the Sunday roast because 3 dishes were out of stock.
