Bagels & Beans (Spui) — Restaurant in The Hague

Worst breakfast place I’ve ever been. The staff unfriendly can’t even talk proper English. You come inside they come to the table to get your order but don’t mention anywhere that you can only pay by maestro card ??? Even when you pay at the table you don’t go to the front bar to read or see that they don’t accept Visa card. NEVER happened to me before. And then the staff was not even able to get me the manager. Oh my manager is on vacation. Yes so no one is doing in the meantime the replacement?? Btw the Orange juice for 5€ was not even fresh. Actually the worst quality. Can’t recommend this place. And I’m happy that I have many people who are reading my reviews and I’m Sure they will avoid this...

The place and the staff are nice. I always go here for my bagels and warm chocolate. I love them. Except today. I ordered for a bagel with honey and wallnut, it was 14:15 after waiting for over 20 mins I asked the womannif my order is ready and she said not yet it's busy. But she was jyst satnding there talking to someone, the other staff was preparing it and she was so slow, it took heee 1 min to cut a bagel, like seriously?? Finally I got it at 14:38. And the more disappointing was when I got it, there was almost nothing in it. I felt like i just wasted my money and time. It happened in B&B spui today (21-02-2021) pls do something...

This is a great bagels and beans! The service is friendly and good.

The variety of bagels you can get here is really great, there are other menu items too that I’m sure are good. I’ve just never tried them.

Just know there is only one kind of beans here! Would really love if they would add an English breakfast option to the menu! With some beans, an egg, and bacon! Yum! But truly I can’t complain. The vegan cream cheese here has my heart and the gluten free bagel is slammin!
