All the dishes are homemade with love. Even though the energy price is that high, they still didn’t increase their price.
After years passing by the small “snack bar”, I didn’t expect the food here soooo gooooood. It is a family runned restaurant, the grandparents are cooking in the kitchen. I was attracted by the Indonesian ladies with kids gathering around the round tables that sunny noon. The mums always know the best places to have lunch. I ordered the chicken mushroom soup which only costs 4 euro, the lunch menu rice with stewed beef, vegetables and sambal egg 6.5 euro and fried siumai and tofu with sate sauce 8.5 euro.
The grandpa gave me the sambal sauce ask me to try it. He is so proud of the dishes he prepared and he was so happy to see me with all the empty dishes in the end. The grandpa told me they want to keep the little price with high quality food. You can by the sambal sauce if you like. I saw indonesian lady traveling here only for the sambal, 3 bottles!
I went there every week to try something new, till now, half a year, there are still a lot of choices waiting for me.
For the people who are interested, I will list the dishes I like most by the end.

Read moreFrom outside the place looks very ghetto, i honestly thought it was some sort of food shelter where they would feed the homeless or something. But the smell of roasted duck and fried rice pulled me in, so i went inside to take a look. And i was not disappointed, we ordered food and it came relatively quickly. We didn’t have to wait ling at all. As for the taste of the food we gotten a roasted duck and so far it was in my too 5 roasted duck for sure. I have had better fried rice before but it was still a pretty decent fried rice. Overall a great experience, i will definitely go back to try something different form their menu.
A tip: don’t out to much of the red sous in the cup, it...
Read moreToday my husband order Ayam Kalasan for me (take home) , and when I open it, it was not the fried chicken kalasan that I always order normally, the sambal also completely wrong, the chicken they gave to my husband looks like left over chicken and very hard as stone, seems like the chicken that cooked for 3 days, the chicken completely hard as stone and rubber.
My husband did not check because we trust that the chicken/Ayam Kalasan will be the same as I always eat everytime we were there.
They also not give us the Bon plus tight the plastic so my husband cannot check whats inside anymore.
This was trully very disapointing...
