Rude & extremely slow service. They took my tea pot when I was looking away and I was not even finished. They only let you order in the screen if you order to take away, otherwise you sit in a table and order and pay yourself through a QR code. Their website said iDeal payment has an on cost of +0,25€, that’s why I decided to pay with another method (card) which did not show to have this on cost. The total amount should have been 14€ as it showed at the end of the payment process and after choosing payment method, but they still charged me the extra +0,25€. And like this for ALL the payment methods even if not mentioned on the site.
I complained as it is unacceptable, probably I was one of the few ones to realise and complain, but if they charge +0,25€ for every customer that pays… that’s an insane amount of money that they are wrongly charging. I explained to a waitress and she was not helpful at all, telling me there’s nothing she can do. I told her to please tell the manager as it’s unfair for customers and they should be aware of the situation. She did not say a word.
I had to reach out again and ask for my money back as nobody apologised nor suggested any solution. They came with 0,01€ coins (!!!) till the sum of 0,25€. This is insane and unacceptable especially when 1 & 2 cent coins are not accepted anymore in the Netherlands, they literally laughed at my face with that gesture. Again, telling me there’s nothing they can do nor apologising. I told them they certainly can mention the extra on cost on their website for each payment method who requires it, same as they do with iDeal!

Read moreI ordered and everything was going well, until I ordered dessert. The server tripped and spilled my coffee on his tray, which went over the plate, spoon and sugar. I work in horeca, it happens! That wasn't the problem.
The problem is how it was resolved. The server didn't even replate the coffee onto a new plate with a new spoon and sugar. Instead, he wiped them down with I assume paper towel, which is probably more time consuming? And the spoon was still sticky from the coffee, and the sugar wet.
When I approached to let them know I was unhappy with how it was resolved - I'm not keen on having to thoroughly wipe my hands with a napkin after stirring my coffee - I was rudely dismissed like I was asking something unreasonable. If I spill a coffee at my place of work, I would be ashamed to give the guest back what was given to me.
Another server approached me, who I assume was the floor manager, and was somehow even ruder, seeming to be eager to get in an argument rather than resolve a simple situation.

Read moreAs regular customer we’re extremely disappointed with our latest experience. We were asked to leave the place because our dog wasnt welcome on this specific day. We have been always dining in at this place WITH our dog and the staff (which we all known by now) were always happy to see us and welcoming us with a big smile. On this particular day the gentleman preparing the food behind the counter had the urgue to intervene while the staff were showing us a place to be seated.
The store manager took the courtesy and called me after i’d sent a mail last week expressing discomfort. His initial reaction was apologetic and explained dogs are welcome but after 5 min the storyline became defensive and phrased sentences as ‘anyone in the store can ask you to leave’. Very rude and very disappointing for such a nice place with nice staff. I hope the other franchises dont have this attitude...
