Everything was fresh and definitely a good place to find your veggies BUT the plates were small so I’d stay it is overpriced relatively to the portions and the fact that they do not use complicated and expensive ingredients (No tofu/tempe etc, no broccoli and cauliflower, no beens avocado and no whole grains). Also, the guy told me they have this “fairness” policy as he called it, meaning they ask not to overload the plate. I can understand where it is coming from. Maybe they had disrespectful customers before but still I felt very uncomfortable taking a bit more than it is “allowed” as i am being watched how much I take. Im not a very big eater but the plates where small and the food was mostly salads with not much protein and carbs in them and even though I dont have any eating disorders I felt kinda bad for wanting to eat a bit more. They have labeled vegan options but also serve meat. They had 1 meat warm dish, 1 vegetarian warm dish and 1 vegan.

The place offers bowls made out of fibers which are bio-degradable. The salade was fresh and delicious, and there was plenty of choice. The only downside was that the coffee came with a cookie wrapped in plastic and a lot of the cutlery was still disposable (though bio-degradable). It isn't a big deal of course, but if you're doing so well with the bowls than why not also ban the other...
Read moreWe had a lunch and a lovely work time there with my colleague. It is a great, healthy and suitable for work place with the interior and lovely food. The staff was so lovely and welcoming. I liked cushions scattered all around, it gives an at-home feeling to the place and you can concentrate with a nice volume of music also. Good for Leiden University people to meet and work together. Just one thing though, please water the hanging plants on top of the main hall. They looked so thirsty...
