Kamer le Deux — Restaurant in The Hague

We were really looking forward to coming to this place but to be honest it disappointed us.

I ordered a steak which was decent but not spectacular. My friend ordered asparagus and you would expect some more effort than just cooked asparagus with some ham on the side, grated boiled egg and baked potatoes. All this for €27.50(!!!)

The waiters didn’t speak proper English, asked us if we would like to order without giving a menu first 😅and once it was given by our waiter, he expected us to order immediately, as he stayed at our table waiting…which was very uncomfortable 😅 He also couldn’t recommend any wine. I don’t know if that was a language barrier but the conversation was very dry and uncomfortable.

Not worth the money, you can eat tastier, cheaper and with a better atmosphere...

If you come to The Hague you NEED to try this restaurant. Wouter was incredibly lovely to talk to, his service was efficient, polite and friendly. Amazing quality food, you can truly taste the fresh products and the effort they put in the kitchen. Amazing experience! Wine, food and service. Everything AMAZING. My pictures don't do justice to the deliciousness of the dinner we had but hopefully you'll get the idea. Thanks a lot and I wish soon this restaurant gets the attention...

I was so impressed with this restaurant! Great food at a great price. This is perfect for those who want a high end restaurant experience without the ego and the price tag. The chef is so friendly and offers great advice with the food, he didn't hesitate to have a chat with us and made us feel very welcome.
