Kibbelking — Restaurant in The Hague

Let's be honest, you are not expecting a lot from this kind of places with lots of people around trying to find a table and only two people cooking and getting the orders. However the food wasn't bad. It's the typical greasy fish, but not bad let's say. The truth is that we tried more food than expected, because the person that took our order just misunderstood us and gave us two burgers instead of the two sharing fish plates that we even pointing to in order to avoid problems. Anyways... Besides after accepting the change, and order again the initial one, they call us to collect the order, but someone else complained about 1 hour waiting and he got our food. Unbelievable!! Ok I am really really disgust. The cook of the Kibelking kiosk was licking his finger while wearing the gloves that he was touching everyone's food with. Aside that he dried his sweat with it from the forehead and then he cleaned very fast his nose . And one more, when you order something they give you a alarm for when the food is ready, i don't know how many people touch this alarm but when you went to take the food he was grabbing the alarm with the same gloves . I am totally disgust. Is there any hygiene inspection happening in Den Haag? Be careful people if you don't want to end up with...

A good spot to catch a quick snack or lunch. Kibbeling or fried fish seems to be a speciality of this area so definitely something to try. We decided to get a platter with everything (Kibbeling, fried shrimps, fried squid and French fries) and share as it was a late lunch/snack situation. It was around 15€. We order and pay first and we get a buzzer thing which vibrates when the order is ready and we can go pick it up. As it is in the pier you can also enjoy a good sea view while eating.
