Miss Maui Beachhouse — Restaurant in The Hague

I would like to share my bad experience in your restaurant, so that you can make conclusions and not repeat mistakes.

First point. We waited an hour and a half for our order, we were not brought drinks before the meal, and we also waited for them for about an hour, although all the neighboring tables that came later than us got their orders within 20 minutes.

Second point. The food was cold, the batat were burnt, everything was not tasty and eatable. We also ordered a classic caesar salad (without eggs) but instead we got a salad with shrimp and eggs.

Third point. Waiter's behavior. The waiter did not hear us when we asked him to find out when our order would be ready an hour after it was placed. he also behaved rudely and passively aggressive, did not apologize and mockingly asked at the end of dinner (when we had eaten almost nothing) if we wanted dessert.

To summarize it was my worst experience in a restaurant in The Hague. terrible service, long waiting time, rude staff and most importantly...

We were absolutely delighted with this restaurant! The food was incredibly delicious — the steak was perfectly cooked, and the sides were fresh and well-matched. I especially want to highlight the cocktails: the portions were huge, served in beautiful glasses, which really added to the overall atmosphere. It’s clear that great attention is paid to details, and we were pleasantly surprised. Our bill came to 80 euros for two, which I find very reasonable for Gagė. I can definitely recommend this place!

A small downside: we asked one waiter for a blanket, but he forgot, so we had to ask another waiter to bring it. A minor issue that didn’t really affect our overall experience. Also, to use the restroom, you need to ask the staff for a special coin, as the toilets are otherwise paid for beach visitors. For a high-end place like this, it feels a bit unusual and slightly detracts from the otherwise...

We had diner here on a summer evening. We could choose where we want to sit. On a high or low table, in the sun or shade. In the evening with cozy firebol candles on the tables. The lounge background music was not too loud or annoying.

The starters, a carpaccio and Spanish meat plate with fresh bread were big so we spit both for two persons, that was no problem at all.

For the diner, there was enough to choose like burger, fish, steak, poke bowl. It were all big plates full with very tasty meals. We enjoyed it with a view over the sea with nice sunset.

The deserts were also delicious and very nice presented!

The waitress was very gentle, not pushing or so.

We had to wait a bit before we get our meals but with a nice companion and a beautiful view, this wasn't a problem at all.

It was a successful evening to remember.
